Interestingly, Alan Nixon’s just said that if we sell Mills and BDK then he believes that should be enough to get us out of the embargo

No, Read what I said again.

Nixon said that if we sell BDK and Stan we would comply with SCMP and the embargo could be lifted, and I agree.

However, for added context I also said that I don't believe we need to sell both. Only one of them and a bit of moderate housekeeping should do it. It then depends whether we want to make some sensible additions this month as to whether we need a helping hand at that point.

Pretty clear that BdK goes if we get the right fee. Doesn't go if we don't. There's literally nothing more to discuss than that.

He strikes me as the type of player that only has one setting when he is on the pitch. He will work hard and give his all. There's enough evidence of that.

So sounds like a win win. If he goes then we are close to removing the embargo. If he does then we have a top player for at least 5 more months.
 
I'd say we should be looking to sell Spencer as we'd get a decent fee for him, and we have cover at RB. We shouldn’t have signed him in the first place really and he's only played 20 odd games.
If BDK goes that should be a fair fee too.
I hope we keep Stan, he's a maker and scorer, and will heavily influence our final league position.

Oh grow up! You might be an absolute bore, who takes himself and everything overly seriously, but some like to have bit of a giggle as well.

There's plenty of sensible conversations all over the forum, relating to all matters, which we all contribute to, in a serious and sensible way.

Is it too much to ask for a bit of a laugh as well at times?

I would prefer to keep Spencer. He is a good player and can also cover centre back if required. Helik might not be here post August

I don't try to wind anyone up, but I do try to add a balance of humour as well as serious chat, as I think others do as well, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Some just seem to have had a sense of humour bypass...well that's their problem.

I'm usually happy to read what Colin has to say as well, but I won't tolerate him getting shitty with me, and giving me lip, simply for having a bit of a joke.

I don't give a s**t if people think it's funny or not, ignore it then.

But if you're gonna start being rude to me for simply trying to have a joke, funny or not, then you're gonna get it back, I don't care who you are.

If you're so weak to then run away in a sulk, that's your fault for starting the unpleasantness in the first place, not mine!

I don't care how knowledgable or informed he is, it doesn't give him the right to be rude to others, who were harmlessly having a little joke.

@Colin B point was perfectly clear selling both players would solve the problem, but that does not mean selling both is the only way to solve it. One sale plus sensible housekeeping may be enough.
You understood that. You just kept repeating “so he’s wrong then?” because you wanted a reaction. Then, when you got one, you suddenly hid behind “it was only a joke” while calling him a bore, weak and a rude prick.
That is not harmless banter. It is deliberately twisting someone’s words, provoking them and then playing the victim when they stop tolerating it.
Colin may have been blunt, but at least he was trying to have an informed discussion. You contributed nothing except childish repetition and personal abuse. The person who needs to grow up here is not Colin.
 
This is what happens when the club decide to go down the route it’s going.

It creates divisions and arguments amongst people who care about our club

This is on the SMT. The cowards who are supposed to be custodians of our club.

Shame on all of them.

What we all need to remember is we’ll be here long after they leave.

Even if we have to pick up the pieces they have destroyed, and start again.

Hopefully we can all remember that we all bleed yellow and blue
