How on earth do you know any of that? Pure speculation. But in fairness it's his role to liaise with the owner and ensure funds are in place to avoid this, surely?
The buck stops with him? It's not ET not making the requisite funds available, it's ET probably not even being made aware that it what it's expected of him.
That's on Williams.
The whole thing is very worrying - no good us pointing a finger. How do you think our existing players are feeling right now? Great preparation eh?How on earth do you know any of that? Pure speculation.
Ultimately Thohir funds the club. The worry is that he may not be able/ prepared to fund what we need.
In spirit but not with shares or actual ownership.I like you Swiss, but that's possibly the worst thing I've read today.
Custodians come and go, fans remain. The club always belongs to the fans.
That's a nice sentiment, but that's all it is. In reality the club belongs to its shareholders and Thohir is by far the majority shareholder. The only way that you can claim that club belongs to the fans is if the fans are able to mount a takeover and, in the unlikely event that we do, it'll be bye-bye new stadium (where are the fans going to get ~£200 million from) and probably bye-bye competitiveness at a reasonable Football League level. You have to ask yourself if the resultant sustainability of the club is worth that costI like you Swiss, but that's possibly the worst thing I've read today.

I don't know, but I very much doubt selling a football club is simple, given the problems various other clubs have had in the past. I suspect it's a very complex set of negotiations to be had and rules to be obeyed, in addition to all the necessary financing (basically taking over a machine for debt production) even if a buyer could be foundIf the owner is NOT providing the funds then the owner will need to sell. Pure & simple.
If he’s stopped providing funding then that is his perogative but if he has and the day to day people can’t provide funding of that then that is why we find ourselves where we are.If there is any silver lining, you'd hope he may have been aware before being sold the dream. That said, if this is about proof of funding, then the embargo would then be lifted quickly.
That said, who'd blame the guy for walking out.
As for ET and those targeting the man who has handed over a fortune, you might ask, as a counter-argument, why he and Dusan may have stopped the outrageous spending around the football club. I am not going to start defending UK management who have contributed to three embargos in several seasons.
So the 17 players that have been released this summer had a wage bill of £1m and the 21 remaining £15m , yes makes perfect sense! So if it's related to not proving the funding, let's do the business model for Tim.
I'd expect turnover to fall from around £20m to £12m. We've already brought in roughly £0.7m (OR) from player sales, so under the 65% SCMP allowance that gives a player (and manager) budget of £8.3m.
I'm assuming last season's player-related wage bill was about £16m. If we strip out the players who've already left, that probably takes it down to around £15m. Apply an average 20% relegation wage reduction and you're left with a wage bill of roughly £12m.
So we have a gap of £4m to bridge and that requires an £8m equity investment or player sales of £8m or combination of both. Now if we are to believe the funds are there (for stadium etc. and he has been funding significant losses in the past), could it be that we are just waiting to see who we (Aaron Ramsey) wants to sell before committing the right value of equity?
Easy answer is to sell more players but that will only be the following;
£3m - Mills
£2m - BDK
£1.5m - Goodrham
£1.5m - Spencer
£1m - Helik
That's £9m - but we kill hopes of promotion and make the season after even worse when it's down to 50% SCMP...
Conclusion - we need one of Mills of DBK to go, and then a commitment of £6m equity from ET.

10 players out of contract, 5 players on loan , then add NEgru + Ingram = 17. Although on reflection Negru was one of the 1017?
I can get to 13 potentially.
There were 10 named in the club piece plus Richard McIntyre also was. So 11.
Marselino unknown status whilst Ingram has departed.
In February the season had started and the club had Championship income.
Just a little sentimental moment , Will Lanksheare wearing his OUFC training Vest with badge in training back in Tottenham yesterday!
Bradshaw, Dale, Findlay and Negru were all part of the 10.10 players out of contract, 5 players on loan , then add NEgru + Ingram = 17. Although on reflection Negru was one of the 10
The Loan Players I was referring to were Lankshere,Donely,Davies,Kona,Makosso all of which would of been on hefty weekly salariesBradshaw, Dale, Findlay and Negru were all part of the 10.
Think the funding proof requirement is having x amount of cash in the bank that covers all costs for x amount of time.
Owners don’t like stale cash sat in banks as proof they can do something, because it’s inefficient.
So often it’s a case of the owner depositing what they need to, to get the embargo lifted.
If there isn't the money to deposit or intention to deposit it, then this will spiral.
The numbers seem pretty realistic. The only bit I'd question is 'So we have a gap of £4m to bridge and that requires an £8m equity investment or player sales of £8m or combination of both.' My understand is that equity investment and player sales are not treated the same. So you'd need to invest £8m equity if you didn't want to sell anyone, but you'd only need to sell £4m worth of players to fit the salary cap, not £8m. So if we used your fee of £3m for Mills and we sold him, we'd also save £350k off the wage bill so that would be a £3.35m gain and leave us pretty close to where we need to be. Getting £3m for Mills when clubs know you need to sell him might be more of a challenge. So if it's related to not proving the funding, let's do the business model for Tim.

Yeah it’s all borrowing using their assets as collateral, so when it comes to the time where they have to pay it off, their assets have more than increased in value to cover it, so for the very wealthy it’s basically an infinite money glitchView attachment 36361
No one involved seems to have access to actual cash. Madness really.
I still have quite a few 12th Man badges somewhere.Thinking about it if we all pledged £2 a week x 7000 st holders then we could pay a players weekly salary maybe 2 £14000 a week.
