Crikey very nervy final 10 mins. Longy had a good game I thought with some fine passes. Just need a bit more bite in midfield but much better going forward.

Massive win. Really needed that.

Disappointing that when we were 3-0 up and cruising, with Cardiff beaten, we didn’t show the ruthlessness and desire to go and on and keep attacking them, score 4 or 5, but rather sat back and invited them onto us.

Some great performances though. Well done Gary!

The late winner for Watford wraps up what is pretty perfect set of 3 pm results for us. Even down to Plymouth having a man sent off. What a day!

Placheta's goal so silly. The guy does nothing with the ball all season, then puts it on a plate for Harris before pinging it top bins from 30 yards. Sheer nonsense. Brilliant.

Not fair to compare this to Leeds because of the crapness of Cardiff (no pressure from them on the ball and awful in final third) but we were so much better than against QPR and Wednesday with Shemmy, Harris and Vaulks so much better. I wonder if we’ll get more out of both players under Rowett. We had so much more energy.

I didn’t get the subs but given I assume that Rowett knows more about football than I do, can someone explain why he put Dembele behind Harris in the centre and not on the wing? Simply put Goodhram in the centre behind Harris, Phillips on the right and SD on the left. I am obviously missing something.

Sam Long really good again. How many times do we say that? Quite a lot I think. The lad bleeds blue and yellow.

Well it’s three points that’s what matters.

It’s should have been more comfortable than that, are defence at times look clueless. Sign a couple of defenders, among other areas to strengthen and we will be ok.

Where did that strike from Placheta come from wow cracking goal.

Some useful late goals have helped in other games too.

Well done Gary Rowett.

Ok, final 10 minutes was extremely concerning, but not entirely unsurprising for a side that can’t buy a win trying to close this out. Nerves definitely took over - either that or just thinking the job was done when it wasn’t. I’m glad Rowett has seen how fragile we are, to be honest. He’ll have not been pleased with how we managed the game.

Lots of pluses, though. Players looking more themselves. Football was certainly more attractive even if we defended lower. It was fantastic to see a mix of goals going in after months of being so one dimensional. Rodrigues in his best position and a bit of control in midfield was so good to see.

Still a long way off the required standard but that was a marked improvement and such a boosting result against a fellow struggler.

Dembele can play through the middle and has done in the past.

On a side note though, it’s yellow and blue not the other way around 😉😂

First half lucky to be level, but second half, bar the last few 10mins looked a different team. Hopefully another 3 points on Sunday 🤞
