Tickets 25/26 Season tickets

The current prices are, to a great extent, dictated by Firoka. The 1893 club became uneconomical for the club to continue (despite a large number of us being willing to pay a bit more for the deal)
Catering in the stadium is 'sold' to the club at a vast profit making anything the club puts on seem outrageously expensive (£160 for a two course meal in the Icons restaurant - it aint worth it)
The new stadium should address some of this, if what we were told at initial presentations actually comes to fruition. However, since then we've gone up to the Championship and the whole ethos behind the club and the hospitality has changed towards a much harsher and finance driven set up. In some ways that's to be expected but, a lot of long standing supporters are less than impressed.
I sincerely hope that the club does try and accommodate all supporters and doesn't see us as merely customers to be relieved of our cash.

It’s important that all those long standing season upon season supporters who backed the club in difficult times, and who have responded to calls from the club to support planning for the new stadium by writing many times to MPs, Councillors and the planning portal are recognised and not taken for granted, especially when it comes to costs and pricing at the new stadium.

I will be amazed if we don't see some much more expensive options within the new stadium. However, all indications are that the provisions for all will be much better and fans even at the lower prices bandings should get something far in excess 90% of the Kassam service.

You're right that we're held hostage by Firoka in regards to the costs of food and beverages in the stadium, and the Icon restaurant is priced beyond the average fan. Unfortunately, there is also only one bar which is already at capacity so we're not longer able to accommodate people in the lounges like we once did.

I can't wait until everyone will be able to access much better food and drink both inside and outside the new stadium, and without Kassam robbing another penny out of us for it all.
I've heard this argument that the bar is at capacity before. I don't buy into that. Originally we had two separate lounges with their own mini bars. The bars were significantly underused and eventually closed. (didn't help that the staff hadn't got a clue what they were doing)
The majority of those using the lounges wanted no more than a cup of tea or coffee at half time. The availability of a warm space with toilets and somewhere to sit was a very welcome feature for the less able and more elderly supporters. A parking space (limited numbers) for others meant the less ambulant had a space convenient to the turnstiles. All of this was gradually removed. The 1893 club eventually replaced by the Icons Restaurant and all those once welcome were left, literally, out in the cold. Various 'ideas' were floated, all involved eye watering sums of money and much less in terms of facilities. The club got what they wanted. If you have wads of cash and are prepared to pay way over the odds for options with very little value for money, you're in, otherwise, go away.

The design of the new stadium, from what I've seen, lends itself to a far greater variety of options. However, if the options are a continuation of current thinking, I, for one, will be very disappointed in the club hierarchy.

My discussions with Jonathan Clarke at various presentations suggested that there would be a whole range of options.
I expect that for those who can afford to there will be high end, expensive options, but Jonatham suggested that the intention was to have very reasonably priced options as well.

People being concerned about catering options at the new stadium is a positive in some ways ( assuming it gets through planning!)

Similar conversation here. The combination of flexible conference facilities with multiple catering outlets was encouraging.

Looking at what they have done at Bristol City when they redeveloped their ground would be good. Some good options for hospitality at different price points and i can confirm the food and atmosphere is great.

I merely want a decent indoor bar area where I can watch the lunchtime match with a few beers and some bar food. Surely that is do-able.

BOOM! Old Golds bought for me and my daughter. The online system was a bit clunky (and I'm normally pretty good with IT). I had to speak to the ticket office (Charlotte for the first time) and she was ace. Up there with Gemma. Top top people.
I'll second this although not sure who I spoke to. "The simplest way to purchase is online" quote from the club doesn't hold true here - i was faffing around trying to work out how to get two old golds for my 10 and 8 year old without them having accounts/emails addresses, decided to phone up and it was done for me no questions asked in about 5 minutes. Great work but kind of encourages me to call every time I have an issue, which I'm sure isn't the idea......................

It's a bit of a faff though. It should be pretty obvious that for younger children, an adult will be purchasing the membership on their behalf.
When creating an account so my granddaughter could get a season ticket, I just used her mums email account.

It's not really a faff. It takes 5 minutes to do what I mentioned and means that your children have an online account for life which should save you time in the future.

An “online account for life” that is linked to an email address their Dad made for them when they were 8. Brilliant, even if you ignore the cardinal rule of e-commerce that is making it as easy as humanly possible for your customers to buy.

It’s a faff when the attempt to link accounts doesn’t work due to some inexplicable IT glitch at their end so you have to phone up from the wrong side of the world to get them to do it manually.

Yep, yesterday I couldn't buy memberships for my family online and got an error message saying I was trying to buy duplicate memberships (ie at least one of the people I was assigning them to already had them). I wasn't. So I had to phone up where it was sorted fairly straightforwardly. But it shouldn't be like this, and the glitches are not all user error by any means. Therefore it is often a faff.

Yeah I suppose my original point was I didn't really want them to have an email address yet for various reasons. And without one, its maybe not as easy as it could be. I get there are ways round it (i.e. using one of the 4 email addresses I seem to have obtained over the years) but I wanted to do without. It was a compliment to the Ticket staff really as it literally took me 5 minutes to sort

Our tickets last year all arrived with the same name on them but different yellow id numbers so the system isn’t great we had 4 of them

Also my sons season ticket was brought using my yellow account for which I didn’t have a season ticket so every time he wanted an away ticket it refused me and took a phone call, all these unnecessary calls add up to a waste of
Time for the amazing ticket office staff

It may have already been posted on here but does anyone know what the benefits are for having a season ticket this coming season?
I have tried to find the link online but seems to have been removed.
