Sheffield Wednesday went on sale at ChristmasIt looks like a number of clubs have launched their season tickets for next season already.
Does anyone know when we may follow suit?
My years of experience tells me we'll somehow manage to take our sweet time announcing them.Small increase across the board is apparently where the prices will be positioned.
I’d anticipate the ST’s going on sale almost immediately after the end of the season.
TBF, the pricing was spot on last season.I am sure our staff with decades of experience will get it right regardless of our league status.
I would imagine a 10% price increase when we stay up and a price freeze in the unlikely event of us getting relegated.
Renewal window to be until mid June but extended to start of July, then any availability after that to open for everyone else.
Well they were in need of a cash injection to pay their players at the time.Sheffield Wednesday went on sale at Christmas
It would be good if there was some kind of restriction in place. I hate seeing loads of empty seats when we are sold out.Wonder if those who didn't use/exchange theirs enough this season will be allowed to renew?
They always seem to be the outlier and want to push them on sale earlier and earlier. A few years ago, they put 10 year ST’s on sale just to get cash into the club.Sheffield Wednesday went on sale at Christmas
If the club decide to increase them substantially it may not greatly impact a decent number of ST holders who have been "active" with the exchange as they are sat with a nice bundle of ££££`s in credit.
Likewise if we survive then the comfort blanket of last seasons minimal increase may well be removed.
Anyone know how we compare to average Championship ST prices?
If people have a problem with others investing their money into our club then they should have a quiet word with themselves. We're going for season tickets for the first time next season. We pretty much saw most home games anyway. I realise this might irritate people that I am just waltzing in to buy our first ones in the Championship but I would definitely buy one if we were in League One.
I don’t want to get all happy clappy about it but this is an incredibly welcoming club with great fans and history. If people have a problem with others investing their money into our club then they should have a quiet word with themselves.
There would have been a lot of people who bought their first ST in 2010 when we got back in to the league, others will have bought one due to our promotion with MApp, a fair few people probably got their first ST last summer after promotion.
Success will bring in new fans each year and that for me is a positive thing.
Oh p**s offI don’t want to get all happy clappy about it but this is an incredibly welcoming club with great fans and history.
A season ticket won’t stop us seeing you as a Palace outsiderI don’t want to get all happy clappy about it but this is an incredibly welcoming club with great fans and history.
We might get the 20%+ increases that you were predicting last season.
I have budgeted for a ST in the east stand to be £400 next season which would be a pretty hefty increase but I think it is wise to budget for worse case and then be pleasantly surprised when it comes in cheaper.Remind when the rent is due.................
Lets see............
Maxed out on ST`s last season - to a point they hit the panic button looking at reduced matchday income and unavailability of single match tickets.
The stadium hasn`t got any bigger.
We look likely to survive in the Championship.
I think we can accept that our potential fanbase is much larger than the current situation allows.
The owners may not find as much loose change down the back of the sofa (global markets/turmoil etc).
Still some may think they remain altruistic and caring rather than hard nosed business folk.
Whatever it goes up by makes diddly difference to me.![]()

I would imagine the early bird prices this summer will be last summer’s GS prices.
This season’s early bird prices were the same price as the GS prices of the season before which is why I think they will do the same again this year.I will say if you take a tenner off your guess then you will be right, just under last years.
You would hope so Mark. That is a conversation between the club and ticket master though I believe. But will they fix the issue of “lone seats” ?
