I don’t think he will ever think otherwise to be honest, his data will always say otherwise!

Still, it’s a positive story, hopefully they get the shirt out a bit earlier for our second season in the Championship.
Being able to buy it before the first game of the season will be a good start.

We have to remember though that we are lucky that we have staff at the club with years of experience 😂

Personally, I'd love to see the Navy replaced with Royal Blue for a bit of a seasonal change.

Many supporters won't remember the 70's & 80's when yellow/royal blue was our colour. In 1985, I vividly remember learning our new Umbro kit was going to see us wear Navy Blue - and at the time - being so disappointed. Of course, it's now been a feature for nearly 40 years!

That all said, it's pretty pointless discussing, as I believe the Macron kits get agreed in the autumn.

Absolutely not.

The lighter blue just doesn't look as good with the Navy. See Cadiz for further info.

It looks washed out and like Mansfield Town. The navy, or Oxford Blue, looks so much better and has links to the city.

I know I've sent you an email on the subject before but I have an almost permanent tab open on my pc of oxfordkits.com :) Didn't know you were on here too! I love the site.

However I just don't feel the royal blue is nice at all. I even prefer the darker, almost-black blue versus the slightly lighter navy we have had (some of the nike kits were like this).

If we're changing anything, I would personally like to see a return to navy socks rather than our current yellow.

Personally, I hope the club never goes back to using royal blue. Navy blue is so much smarter because it provides a dark contrast to the bright yellow. With royal blue we'd have two bright, shiny colours together and I think it would look a bit like a tacky Sunday league kit.

Found this knocking about on eBay (link here), claiming to be a concept kit for this season. Clearly it isn't, which begs the question... is this the first ever knock-off Oxford United shirt? Are we getting that big in East Asia that fake kits are making their way onto the market?

When the home shirt for this season released, you could buy a knock off version on AliExpress. The shirt above is from a relatively well known football shirt site which comes up with these relatively cheap looking “concept” kits which actually aren’t that far off the cost of the real thing so it’s pointless.

Like the badge on the white kit, just the Ox head with no sheld
Yeah, I always preferred that look. I think when Tiger and the Asian continent came in, they decided adding the shield and text looked more along the recognisable university branding, as we had had the solitary Minoan Ox head in the three seasons prior to their involvement.

I believe the club crest now (conveniently) being a badge-shaped patch is simply down to the ease/speed/cost of application on garments.

I dread to think how long we would have waited for the kits to be available to buy if it wasn’t a badge then 😅

I'd imagine that'll evolve into a round creast which seem to be popular currently.
I f*****g hope not. So dull, and just everywhere. That said, I don't mind the circular design we had back in the 70s so much. If we had to jump upon the circular bandwagon, a return to that would be the only acceptable choice.
