Haven't started one of these for ages. Great time to play Bradford. They are on a shocking run and I think it will continue tomorrow with the mighty Yellows coming out on top 2-0. Goals by Mackie and Whyte.

The last long away trips I've done were Fleetwood, Sheffield Utd, Bolton and Sunderland of which we've won once so I'm not too optimistic despite their form. Looks like it'll be close to a sell-out there with the £1 ticket deal.

Surprised at the apparent lack of interest in this one. We’re on a great run at the moment. Decent city/stadium. Big chance of our first away league win of the season. And tickets are £1!

Any idea how many we’re taking?

Eastwood
Hanson Dickie Nelson Ruffels
Brannagan Mous Henry
Whyte Mackie Browne

0-2, Mackie x2.

Looking for a handy away win in this one. A heads up though: Bradford have just picked up Karl Henry (free agent) who has always been a sound midfield enforcer with a decidedly mean streak. In 358 league starts (mainly Wolves and QPR) he has accumulated 82 yellows and 5 reds. What's the betting he picks on Browne...

IF Bradbury is on the bench & KH's enforcing duties do get a bit too much for Browne, KR could unleash Brad' to occupy KH ? ;)

If he does let’s hope Mackie deals with it.

Does anyone know if Brannagan is banned again as reading a tweet from his dad after Tuesday he said he had another ban. If he is I can only see a 1-0 nervy win but if he plays we'll blow them out the water 3-0

Eastwood
Hanson Nelson Dickie Ruffels
Mousinho
Brannagan Henry
Whyte Mackie Browne

Brannagan Nelson and Whyte goals.

Important that we go again and get something here as well, as while we've put in the effort and caught the pack ahead of us, taking the foot off the gas could see us drop away again. Been a great effort so far, would be a shame if we could not keep ourselves clear from now on

Brannagan has 8 yellow cards (7 L1 1FAC). If he receives a further 3 yellows in L1 before 32 league games have been completed ( almost certain) he will be suspended for 2 games. If he gets another yellow in the FAC then he will be banned from the n3xt round (assuming of course we are in the next round!)

My worry with Bradbury after Tuesdays game is that he is too concerned with getting in peoples faces, and shying away from headers aka Obika.
I have no doubt he has great potential, but needs to learn his game a bit before becoming a bench regular, in the same way Baptiste grew into the team.

He was up against a very good player in Zakuani who had worked out a way of jumping on his shoulders to win headers without being penalised - not quite sure how. I’m sure it was a good learning experience

1 - he didn’t play on Tuesday
2 - him getting in the faces of the Gillingham players got both of them booked and forced them to make errors. They had it far too easy when Smith was up top.

Sorry I meant Gillingham. I agree about Smith, but I think if he focused on his strengths, Which is partly getting in the faces of the back line, but also his mobility to get into goal scoring positions, he will be a player we talk about for years to come. Last Saturday he seeingly tried too hard on getting entangled with the opposition defence.

On form an easy win. But we are playing a side on a losing streak. You know what that means!!!
