They must field a side. Same thing happened at Tranmere a couple of weeks ago. Same thing happened with Crewe but we rightfully chose not to play as the postive player travelled on the day. Days notice means there’s no reason it can’t be played according to EFL

So how have Accrington managed to call off their game tomorrow.
And Grimsby a couple of weeks back.

Tranmere got threatened with a points deduction if they did not play at the start of the month didn’t they?

December 8th looks to be the first free "normal" matchday that would be free for both clubs.
Or FA Cup 2nd Round day on 28th November if both lose in Round 1.

They claimed they did and EFL denied it.

The Tranmere v EFL relationship was already shot to pieces prior to that due to PPG and associated issues at the end of last season. I wouldn't take much notice of what either side says as they both have just been trying to get one over the other.

Would be interesting to know the wishes of both sides; you'd presume Swindon would not want to play (poor form, players/staff missing etc.), and we've set a precedent by not wanting to play Crewe on the 1st attempt due to the uncertainty.

If tests were done this morning then all of these that weren't positive should be avalable. No risk to Oxford (assuming it's at the Swindon end). Play the game.

Article says comfirmed cases in Swindon's "First Team", not sure if that's the men or women. Their pre match conference also cancelled according to their forum.

We quite rightly didn't want to play Crewe because their entire squad had been in close contact with a player who had tested positive for Covid by travelling on the coach together. This is quite different.

"Swindon Town have confirmed that due to positive tests within their First Team they have cancelled all first team activity until November 2nd."

That sounds like all first team activity including men and women

When you take it out of context; your right it does!

I've not received mine yet!
Tried contacting the club, just get answer phone as usual. Ifollow say it's the club's responsibility to get codes out. If anyone knows of Tom Laws where about maybe they can ask him to look into this. He seems to be the one responsible for distributing codes.

Not disagreeing with the Crewe decision, but surely the rest of their team will have been in contact with those who have tested positive in training etc., even if they haven't been together in a bus.
