Never said it was off, he actually said it should go ahead earlier. So the bloke who said its off.............now says its on.....................
Be off at 2.30 tomorrow then.
If the sport had used the months and months that it had to properly develop more intricate revenue models, it wouldn’t be half as bad. As it is not enough has been done or developed on any front. Everyone just assumed it would go away / sort itself out and everybody would be back in stadiums by now. Football (like many other industries) got it horribly wrong and now it’s too late for this season to be salvaged on that front.Andy Holt (Accrington's chairman) is very open about his club's finances, this gives some idea about how much money clubs are missing out on:
iFollow, advertising, season ticket income (that would otherwise need refunding), competition money (efl trophy). How do clubs (at our level) generate income from games at the moment?
Scary - puts it all into perspective really. If fans aren't in grounds ASAP we're all done for. Ifollow is never going to be an adequate replacement for real tickets.Andy Holt (Accrington's chairman) is very open about his club's finances, this gives some idea about how much money clubs are missing out on:
Possible it was a scheduled article and there has since been a U-turn.View attachment 4862
The OxFail seem to have published an article without a statement!
But if they keep having cancellations because of covid then it may well be the sensible thing to do.Scrap the season and there most likely won’t be another season for any club at this level.
Are we certain of a U turn, based on on tweet?Possible it was a scheduled article and there has since been a U-turn.
either wayNothing official as of yet
No that’s why I am saying it’s possible. No statement from either club yet it looks like Oxford mail we’re waiting for one before publishing that. Are we certain of a U turn, based on on tweet?
Crewe would probably bring them all over on the bus anyway like a bunch of muppets.
