We will win a thriller with an unlikely player getting the winner, who will be this generations Alex Dyer?

I haven't been a big fan of the flat 3 in midfield under Bloomfield. I feel we're too disconnected when we're playing without a 10. Away from home you want a bit of extra physicality and as Prelec is out, Phillips is the obvious shout. Hope to see Jeon on the bench!

How crazy would it be to go two seasons with out a penalty

Considering what hasn't been given as penalties for us and what has been given against us in the Championship, 2 seasons is very possible.

Having watched Leicester on TV a few times lately I'm certain we can beat them. But they are quite unpredictable even within the same game, so won't be getting my hopes up until we're 3-0 up.

Well that record is really going to be tested against our misfiring attack.

Don’t worry, we’ll stop the rot for them. We all know records change when teams play us!!
I normally watch all the assorted EFL/Champ-focused podcasts/YouTubers predictions with a touch of amusement. It’s quite fun watching people predict us to lose almost every week (we’ve still won or drawn more than we’ve lost this season for the record, so they’re wrong a lot!).
Weirdly this week some of the predictions have irked me a little. Watching sofa pundits pick their bums and predict Leicester cruising to a big victory over us based on form just doesn’t feel accurate. They have been leaking goals, we’re off the back of two clean sheets. Their form over 10 games is better than ours…but not miles better. Our performance against the top teams in this league - and parachute clubs - this season is particularly good (even when we have lost - Ipswich away, Wrexham away, Hull away, Watford away, PNE at home it’s by the odd goal and in many of those us nicking a point wouldn’t have been a huge shock). They’re in the bottom half, and are a points deduction away from being in the same relegation battle as we are! In essence, if these faux-experts were making their predictions based on ‘Oxford are going down and Leicester are an ex-PL team with parachute payments so I’m judging it on reputation rather than actual knowledge’ then I could live with it. But trying to play your ‘easy Leicester win’ pick as based on form has raised my ire a tad.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m going to the King Power more in hope than expectation. But an Oxford win wouldn’t be a HUGE, coupon-busting, stat-defying, Palace at Macclesfield-level anomaly based solely on 25/26 season form! We CAN get something. And to be frank, given our fixtures over February and our league position as it is - arguably we actually NEED to start pulling some ‘shock’ results out if we are realistic in our hopes of survival.

We could still be playing against QPR right now and it would still be 0-0. I was beginning to think we won't see another goal again all season, but then I realised tomorrow is when the survival charge starts so we're going to nick something. Bloomfield has got the players up for it, you could see that in Brannagan's 40 yard charge for a sliding tackle and Ciaron Brown running through the middle of the pitch like Conan The Barbarian.
Leicester 0 Oxford 1. Mills to score the winner late on after Peart-Harris has a shot with his left foot.

Any idea on how many tickets we’ve sold @Essexyellows?
Just hope it’s not like the Birmingham performance earlier in the season! You know, when we didn’t turn up!We could still be playing against QPR right now and it would still be 0-0.
