I cannot wait any longer to post this, need some football to look forward too!

As you can see, we now have a score predicter!

Cumming
Long Moore Brown
Kioso Josh Mc Vaulks Leigh
Ruben Tyler
Scarlett

I'd snap your hand off for a draw, but I'm going to be positive and go for a 2-1 home win. Hope to see Brannagan on the bench and given a run out.
Have we had any further updates on the fitness of Edwards / Phillips and Placheta?

Placheta back in full training last week alongside Brannagan. Philips back with squad after the break also (not sure what that means for fitness), according to the Dub.

Either of these works for me:

Harris could've done with a rest this international break, as he's been running himself ragged since the start of the season, and now he's taken a bang to the head and face, that's gonna mean he's potentially concussed, if not, he'll be at least pretty smashed up.

Although he'd benefit from having a strike partner up front, I think he's passed that point now, and he would benefit more from a rest to recharge his batteries a bit.

Rodrigues came to us as a striker, playing all across the front three, so let's get him playing up front, alongside Scarlett, but also dropping slightly deeper to link with Tyler. An old school Number 10 role, if you will.

Allow Tyler more freedom to roam, centrally in the final third, popping up in pockets of space, where he can be more constantly involved, instead of sticking him out wide, where he's so much less effective.

Leigh and Kioso, or even Avest will need to provide the width in the final third, but with Tyler and Ruben linking up centrally, out and out width, getting in behind to the byline etc wouldn't be such a constant necessity, as we could be looking to play through the middle more.

Gonna be a tough game, if we were away, I'd take a draw, and probably still would, but we're at home, so let's have a proper f*****g go!

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!

My predicted score isn't showing in the list.

Based on that prediction and the 10/10 you gave Cootes v Cov, you're barred from voting 🤣

When we're 8-0 down at half time on Saturday I'll be nice and relaxed in the knowledge that Des is delivering the best half time team talk ever.

Assuming he's playing on Saturday, if Ben Doak is anything like in the form he was for Scotland v Croatia, then Ciaron Brown and Greg (or whoever is playing wingback) are going to have their work cut out.

Hoping that he will play this evening for Scotland.

I kind of feel like the next two games (this one and Sheffield United away) are free hits. Awesome if we get something, but don't necessarily expect it because those are two clubs with vastly more resources than we have.

It's the games after that, and on until the end of January, that are going to determine how our season is going to go.
Millwall (H), Plymouth (A), QPR (A), Wednesday (H), Leeds (A), Cardiff (H), Plymouth (H), Millwall (A), Preston (A), Luton (H), Blackburn (H), Stoke (A).....

.....is, with the obvious exception of the game that I've bolded, as straightforward a set of a dozen fixtures as you could ever expect to get at this level.

By the time the calendar ticks over to February 2025, going to want 35 points on the board to feel confident about staying up......big couple of months coming up. Bring it!

Don’t fancy Brannagan then?
