A most enjoyable couple of hours. Friend at work has a corporate ticket so saw it from the "posh side of things" & got a lift there and back. (y)
Well worth the win IMHO almost a classic "away day smash & grab", great noise from the travelling fans.
Decent team performance, nice to see us using some of the tactics so often used against us.
Shame about the whole SISU thing but such is life, plenty of clubs in similar/worse positions.
Onwards & upwards.......... whats the odds on sneaking a PO place? Stranger things have happened with us!! ;)

I dont think 52 will be enough this year, its just too tight down the bottom, it could need a record to stay up.
I havent got a clue who all the others are playing but 3 wins and we would be extremely unlucky to go down, 55 points, after the first 5 games I'd have bit your hand off for that many.

Think you are wrong as there are a few teams in such bad form they will need a major upturn in results to get 50, plus so many matches with teams playing each other will mean dropped points are guaranteed

What's happened is that teams in mid-table have taken their foot off the gas, whereas teams at the bottom have picked up points. That's bunched everyone up, and also made it difficult to escape the clutches of the relegation zone despite getting a few decent results. Those former mid-table teams are the ones who should be fearful - Wycombe and Southend in particular. At the end of January, Wycombe were 9th with 42 points, and Southend were 12th with 38 points. We were on 31 points and outside the relegation zone on goal difference. 8/9 games later, we've gained 15 points, Southend have gained 4 and Wycombe only 2.
In the last 20 years, no team has gone down with 52 points. A few have gone with 51 but not very often. Two wins from the next three very winnable games would give us almost certain safety. But when do things ever go to plan?

Yes that's the perspective.
2 wins and I reckon we will be there. Probably less.
Let's do it as soon as possible!
