Yeah when I look at the bbc sport app, they have gills going above us despite losing 2-0!

Great performance, we were far the better team, especially as we played against 12 men for most of it.
We would have been at least 2 goals ahead by half time if we had that striker we are desperate for, in the box waiting for the ball. Fantastic support again, near 500.
For the second week running we have come up against one of the current best the league has to offer and came out the better team. So many different rumours surrounding January. A common thread was that more than one person had heard that Browne was off on loan to a championship side and Holmes back to Sheffield.

Lovely start to the Xmas holiday. Not our most fluid performance but stayed positive and thoroughly deserved point. I really enjoyed Hanson’s performance, he ain’t no full back, wasteful crossing of the ball but when the ball is there to be won he doesn’t even think of coming second and an assist to boot; fabulous finish by Gav, by the by. Poetic justice Josh nicking a point on the back of the tedious time-wasting. Well done, boys, great job!

Nice to know the Donny lot know us for having a good away support. Credit to all who went.

A very good point.
Looking at their forum they seem to think we are niggly and spoiling team, and that the ref had a good game?

A fair few also saying we deserved the draw.

In the matchday information on Oxford website, it clearly says tickets available on day from Doncaster CASH only. They put CASH in capital letters. Turn up today, very efficient ticket office, a credit card machine sitting the on the desk. More than happy to take credit card, which is useful when buying 3 tickets.
Why the incorrect information on our website?

I expect that is what they were told?

I live in North Notts but have a business in Doncaster. 2 Donny friends/ fans, who went to the game (I spent the day travelling to Ireland) said we were terrific, by far the best team they’ve played this season, our right winger is a class above and they were very lucky to get a point

Crap signal been down Bournemouth to look at the lights so a bit delayed but here goes.

Good old boy he’s one of our own he’s Josh Ruffles he’s one of our own.
Been in Bournemouth all day Bazz! Visiting mother. Lucky for us we still maintain a Wi-Fi connection in her flat!
Had to watch as she fried frozen chips in butter! Bless! She is 92. She asked later if we had a favourite team and looked quite perplexed as we celebrated the 2nd equaliser!

Walking through the gardens with 100’s of people mulling round the Xmas lights and my 4g was crap it took ages for a page to come through, I couldn’t even find out who scored our first goal because all I read on here was “yyyeeesss and get in there “ but have to say the lights are damn good especially the Xmas light colour changing tree

Dull newish stadium with terrible acoustics. Pitch seemed to be miles from the stands. Shopping mall next to the ground was fairly ghost town like. Bit concerning considering we are 3 days from Christmas - maybe they were all at the football admiring the stylish men in blue and yellow.( why exactly did we play our change kit anyway?)

Anyway for most of the game Doncaster were holding on. We pretty much dominated throughout, but the lapses in concentration really cost us.

Smith ignored once again
- his time is up at OUFC. Stand out player by a mile was Whyte. Not only is he lightning fast but he works hard defensively.
On the other hand Browne flitted in and out and generally played like his agent had fixed his next loan out in January.

Ruffs’ equaliser was emotionally received by the die hards. We should have won though.

COYY

Reference to a Whyte Christmas got me thinking.

How many Oxford United festive connections could there possibly be ?

Could be players, coaches, Managers, broadcasters , journalists etc.etc.

Andy “ bing” Crosby, Andrew s-ELF...
