Pleased its a normal saturday 3pm kickoff with Jerome and Nathan, makes a change.Hopefully Romeny is fit because he has shown glimpses of real skill. Time for TG to repeat his earlier strike against them.COYY

Errrr....our goal against them in the home game was a Scarlett header from a Vaulks long throw?!?

Come on Oxford let's be right up for this one..
A nice three points will do, a upset is on the cards sometime this season??

Feeling confident for a 1-2 away win with brannagan scoring a penalty and Romeny hitting a thunderous shot into the top corner in front of the away fans

Goals from Enzo Maresca (pictured) who is now the Head Coach at Chelsea and James Quinn give the Baggies a 2-0 win over the U’s.

No chance of my selection but personally what I’d be going for today. A proper shake-up after things have started to go a bit stale.

Would like to see a couple of new faces at least and a more controlled performance. They’re not unplayable by any stretch and I fancy us for a well-earned point today. 1-1.

We need something from the game before we get sucked back in. Every game is so tough , ut we've proved we can do it .1-1

Think it’ll get confusing with at least two players wearing number 6 🤣

With Leigh out we’re going to see a different defensive lineup, what’s really interesting and difficult to predict is the formation and lineup Rowett decides to start with.

Quite a few permutations.

Stick with the favoured 4-2-3-1, or switch to 3 at the back with wingbacks.

Bring back the Captain? Thorniley or Long to play? Brown or Bennett at leftback?
Defensive wingbacks Kioso and Ter Avest? attacking wingbacks Mills and Placheta?

That’s just the defence.

Goodrham, Romney and Matos deserving of a start?

Decisions, decisions.

I think We might see;

Cumming,
Kioso , Moore, Helik, Brown,
Vaulks, Brannagan,
Mills, Goodrham, Placheta,
Romeny.

In a weird way, I’m actually much more confident about this one than I would be if we were at home to one of the bottom teams.

Our plan and set up under GR to keep it tight at the back, don’t commit too many bodies forward, and try and hit the opposition on the counter attack - perfect for a game like this… a bit disappointing at home against the 10/9 men of Bristol, disappointing away against a dreadful Derby and at home vs a Portsmouth side who never win away - but perfect for a game like today.

I think we’ll either win 1-0/2-1, or perhaps slightly more realistically draw 0-0 or 1-1. Tight game, close game, not many goals, but we’ll hopefully get at least a point and maybe 3.

On train on route to Brum, Choo Choo...
Come on you yellows. Beat the Boing Boings...
1-0 Oxford....šŸ’›šŸ’™šŸ¤˜šŸ»

Paul Simpson scores the first of his 50 goals for OUFC in a 3-2 loss at the Hawthorns on November 5th 1988.

Sing loud and proud. Looking for an upset and a nice 1-0 win. Brannagan with a penalty (at last).

Sounds nuts but I would be happier with a 4-3 loss than a 0-0, draw purely so that we get some confidence putting the ball in the net for the remaining games.

I'll await the pelters!

Barmy :)

Clean sheet and grab a point, or concede 4 and lose šŸ¤”

Danny Hylton bundles the ball over the line from a Will Hoskins knock down at the Hawthorns in the League Cup in 2014.

Think I'd go:

Cumming
Kioso Helik Moore Bennett
Matos Brannagan
Placheta Goodrham Dembele
Romeny

COYY. A win would be absolutely huge.

Reckon Derby will beat Millwall, Plymouth to beat Cardiff, Coventry to beat Preston, Portsmouth to lose to QPR, Sunderland to beat Hull, Norwich to lose to Stoke, Swansea to draw with Blackburn and Oxford to draw at WBA.

Of course we are the new boys in this league and the baggies have had some serious money, sloshing around for a considerable time.
On the face of it you would think that they are stronger in every department but it does seem that in many of these higher profile clubs, their form is unpredictable.
We only have to find them on an off day and we can nick the points.
Boing boing so to speak!!šŸ˜‚

West Broms home record this season won 7 drawn 8 lost 2.
