We made hard work of it, but there was lots of good in there. Increased confidence will help some of those passes reach their target and shots to squeeze in rather than out.
 
We really needed that.

Positives:
Defence looks better. Much much better.
KR made a sensible change at RB.
Clare looks like an excellent wide midfielder.
Both Henry and Taylor score.
McGuane looked more like he did in his early games (after a bit of a poor start).
Atkinson still looks like a diamond in the rough.

Negatives:
We made very hard work of beating a terrible team.
The passing was very wayward all the way through.
Still not convinced by Kelly.
 
Made up with the win but boy the midfield was significantly weakened with 20mins to go and we almost did the unthinkable
against the worst team in the League.

Thought McGuane and Kelly were decent alongside Gorrin. Like Obita and was glad to see Atkinson back at CB.

Some progress made today. Time for a drink !

Well done lads well deserved win, but could have done without the stress for the last 7or 8 minute.
Going to enjoy a nice pint of London Pride to celebrate 🙂

Given how bad we were against Crewe, that was a massive step up, regardless of the opposition. Stuck at it, kept up the energy levels and made positive changes. Well done Karl and the team.
 
Another nail biting end but 3 welcome points. A lot better performance all round the pitch.
 
Need to build momentum and build on this to go on a winning run of 3 or more consecutive (league) games
 
A massively needed win, I would of taken any win before the game.

They are shite, lets be honest, so anything else would of sent me in to despair, it was the right game at the right time for us.

Not hopeful at all about Tuesday night still, we can’t keep a clean sheet against Wigan so will take keeping the score down against Pompey but hopefully that won’t take to much momentum away from us before the big game against Swindon after.
