Gutsy performance today and the players fully deserved it. Bristol City are certainly one of the best teams in the league which is why our bravery in going forward away from home has to be applauded. It left us open at times as the game was a bit like a basketball match but I’d rather see us attack than retreat. That’s breathed life into our season. Well done all!

I'm not sure I'd describe them as one of the best teams in the league. The league table can be very misleading at this stage of the season.

That was impressive. We could have easily collapsed when they got a goal back early second half and to be honest I thought we would. Pleasing that all the subs made a difference, we are a lot stronger off the bench. BDM has been one hell of a signing. COYY!

I have Bristol City cousins and Sheff Utd cousins. This was the 1st of 2 family derbies in a week.

I reeeeeeally need us not to be the side the Blades break their duck against on Saturday for this season's bragging rights!

Our young full backs Spencer and Currie are only going to get better with more championship experience.

BDK man of the match. Outstanding.

Long Helik fought so hard at the back.

Prelec and Krastev only going to get better as well I think.

Credit to GR and the lads. Never write us off.

2.5 really good games in a row now and we're looking to go at teams rather than passively try and hold on an nick a set piece. Absolutely excellent stuff and a shout out again for the recruitment team getting BDK through the door for what is already looking like peanuts. Still some players to come back too who will strengthen us, early days but lets hope we kick on from here and put our stamp on the division.

Woohoo! Great performance!

No surprise since now we've actually got a good striker up there (and Prelec as back up or as the 10) and we look a bit more like a team and can create some decent chances now!

Long way back for Sparky? But he'll no doubt still have a role to play I think.....

BDK is a hero!

The footballing Gods of Bristol City are slain at Ashton Gate.

I think it’s a disgrace claiming a goal while you didn’t touch the ball.
A bit unfair, I'd say! If he hadn't made the move that he did their goalie would have saved that goal.

Oh, I should add.....what a bloody brilliant game, with three superb goals.

Superb all over the park today, magnificent away win. Every single player put in a real shift and we thoroughly deserved the result.

Great to see us having a go and attacking with purpose, a bit more pace with Placheta, Krastev and Prelec causes problems for the opposition and gives them something to think about, and what a difference Lankshear makes up front, having a bigger physical presence who can occupy centre backs and win the ball and hold it up is vital at times.

BDK what can you say, my only worry is how long we can keep him for!

Superb today yellows, absolutely brilliant.

I'll single @Ewes out as I did at half time, but I can't stand to see fans roll over and give up before a ball has been kicked. But there were also those who wrote off August, or talking about relegation already (Kip!)

As we have just seen, we can compete with anyone in this league and need to get more belief on and off the pitch. We've just played a team who were looking to go second after finishing in the playoffs last season - and played them off the park at times. This follows us being the better side for an hour against a Leicester side with a £40m wage bill, and fighting an unbeaten Coventry side all the way.

And its not just those who were giving up on games, but how many times did we here about bargain bucket signings in a poor transfer window. Its one thing wanting more players in, but let's take a moment to recognise those that did arrive.

Perlec with a great goal, and bullying performance. Lankshear was tied down but battled for everything and could have got a couple more goals. Spencer had his best game for us, and the goal line clearance was superb. Krastev was busy and helped stretch the play and create space for Placheta to play in. And Luke Harris was more effective when coming on with the game still in the balance.

But de Keersmaecker is something else. A modern day Trevor Hebberd who almost glides across the pitch whilst also being tough in thd tackle. And his passing is almost magical. Its not just picking the pass but he weights them better than anyone I've seen at this level. We have to enjoy him while he lasts because I doubt it will be long before he's playing at the very top of the game.

Still very early days, but hopefully today has shown that there is more to be positive about than a few on here would have you believe.
