Anyone know where to park near to the ground?

Another ground off the list, another noisy away mob, another away win breaking their run of form.

0-1.

Although if we sneak a draw I will not be unhappy.

This is going to be a really tough game in my opinion. Southampton are a strong side and away matches like this are never easy!!!

Honestly, at this stage of the season even a draw wouldn’t be a bad result for us. We’re at the point where every single point matters and can make a big difference by the end of the campaign.

The key will probably be staying organised and trying to take our chances when they come, because against teams like Southampton you usually don’t get many. If we come away with something from this one, I’d definitely take it.

We probably lose, we are 4 unbeaten after taking 10 points in those games, away to a good side who we have already beaten, while that sounds pretty decent we don’t tend to, other than the season we won the league, go on long runs of form at this level and we don’t do the double over many teams, so the run should come to an end this weekend.

However it’s a time of year that’s a bit silly season results wise in the championship, get some odd results as the end nears, so if we can stay in the game then the longer it’s tight the more chance we have.

Can’t honestly see us getting anything from this. They are a far superior side and will have a large and boisterous crowd behind them. We won’t collapse…. but 0-2.

Was just combing through Rageonline, and I reckon the last time we completed a double over anyone at this level was West Brom on February 17th 1998 (2-1 both home and away).

You hate to say it with just eight games left and wins needed......and it's the last time I'll say it this season (barring us needing a point on the final day to stay up)......but the way Southampton are playing right now, I'd take a point if it was offered.

I just realised they have a game Wednesday night, that has to give us more hope.

Thoroughly looking forward to going to this one.

A draw would be an amazing result. If you offered me that now I’d snap your hand off!!

@Sarge well said!!!!

We have nothing to fear! This is a go for it game, everyone thinks we'll lose so who cares if he do! However if we go for it and pressure them and maybe go.1 up the game dynamic changes. Lanks will give the defenders a fun day! Donley andCB provide the artillery. Mills and MPH provide the bullets. Konak the enforcer.

La sceina or whatever he's called is injured and hopefully out.

So be positive, weeks ago 99% of the forum wouldn't have believed we would be were we are. So let's a Roman and put soton to the sword not like a pussycat!

We go for it we get a draw maybe a win we sit back we lose so why bother going

The really, really frustrating thing about this game, is we could confidently play for a draw had we beaten Charlton.

Now a draw is less beneficial for us.
A draw will be an excellent result regardless.
We will be delighted with a draw. It is probably our toughest game by a distance left.

A tough game for sure but winnable nonetheless. Sure our team won’t be going on the pitch with the negative outlook some on here have. Thankfully.

If anyone has a couple of spare tickets for this one please let me know. I got caught out not thinking it would sell out so quick. Learnt my lesson for Pompey!

A win seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened - and we just need to trust in our own good form as much as worry about theirs! Probably happy to hug a point though...
