Same starting XI then?

GR loves a bit of Matty ‘no legs left’ Phillips so perhaps he’ll swap him for Dembele but surely Cheese on the other side (Tyler still suspended).
Bradshaw to start? Can’t let Harris keep his place after missing that sitter against B’burn

Of course Harris will keep his place.

Dembele looked to be in quite a bit of pain/discomfort so it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t start.

A game we should be looking to win, but like all matches in this league it will provide a different, difficult challenge.

It would be great if we could win this one and put another 3 points between ourselves and Luton.

Playing a determined Luton side will not be easy - however, the boys are starting to gel nicely and building confidence,
just at the right time of the season.

If the form rating is correct: I expect to see a repeat performance on Tuesday night and another WIN. Onwards and upwards.

A positive 2 - 0 scoreline would do me very nicely!! COYYs!!!

Not sure Rueben will be left out, that was undoubtedly his best Championship game for Oxford yesterday - he was superb I thought.
I’d argue he was better Luton away but I wasn’t at that game; he definitely still goes missing for 5 minutes occasionally, but I rate him. Every time he has made the step up through the leagues he has risen with it, which is great

Must not lose game ,they will be hard to break down. 1-0 will do again ,Mich on the end of a corner.

I read in another article that Goodrham’s available tomorrow night, but thought he still had one game to go or were his 3 games Preston, Plymouth and Blackburn meaning he is available?

Edit; the article must have been wrong as he played against Preston, sent off against Exeter, so has only missed 2 games, Plymouth & Blackburn, so one more game!

How can Preston be one of his game he got sent off the week after

Plymouth, Blackburn and Luton he is suspended for. We have him available for Stoke on Saturday.

I think we will probably go unchanged but could see a fresh Goodrham being brought straight back in on Saturday - irrespective of the result tomorrow. That will have been two demanding and intense home games in a few days and a tough trip to Stoke for an early kick off might call for some fresh legs.

Fancy us tomorrow night. If we're able to perform like we did against Blackburn, we should brush Luton aside with relative ease. Saturday was the best home performance since Norwich, and with 3 favourable fixtures on the way, we should be full of confidence and on the front foot!

Cumming
Kioso Helik Brown Leigh
Brannagan Vaulks
Matos
Shemmy Bradshaw Dembele

I would rest Ruben. He had a good game on Saturday, but I really liked Matos in that advanced-role. High energy, strong in the tackle and great on the ball! If we're to dominate the midfield, he's a big part of that.

3-1 home win (Bradshaw, Brown, Brannagan)

UTFO!

Win this game, we're 9 points clear of Luton, 14 clear of Plymouth, with 18 left to play. Obviously a long way to go (over a third of the season) but it starts looking very healthy for us at that point. We keep getting results by scoring bangers. Our xG (expected goals) is the second worst in the league, and our xGA (expected goals against) is the third worst.

Thank you Jamie Cumming.

I'm very hopeful of a more "normal" win with plenty of good chances created. We cannot lose tomorrow. A point is not a disaster, but we should definitely be aiming for 3.

The boys must again come out of the traps - from the outset - and play with the intensity they showed on Saturday.

LUTON will be trying to do the same and therefore will try and disrupt our flow -- so it will be (I suspect) a frantic first quarter of the game.
The boys must NOT be complacent since this will be termed by many as a SIX POINTER and thus another major step away from a potential relegation battle, come April?

If we score first, however, we're likely to go on and WIN the game, provided we maintain our focus...
A positive result will be a massive step to ensuring our presence in the division next season :giggle:(y)

I'm really looking forward to this one -- it will be quite an atmosphere inside the stadium.
Wrap up warm, boys and girls, this game is going to be intense!!! COYYs !!!

we're on an unbeaten run which helps with confidence, though we'll have to battle hard tomorrow night - hope the ref isn't easily conned, Luton have signed Jones from Boro, Jones goes over like he's been poleaxed if you merely glance at him sideways!- reckon it'll be a 2-1 home win Shemmy & Harris

Concerned I maybe missing something obvious- but why is Shemmy being referred to as cheese?
He explained in an old interview that his polish team mates used to call him cheese growing up. I can’t recall why now but the name has just stuck through his career

He has knee issues as well, been out a few times with it I think.

We got over £2m for him apparently, so I think we did quite well out of it all things considered.
Yet at the time this forum went into meltdown over him and Fosu (now of Northampton Town) going for c.£3.5m. Funny old game.
