It's Day One of Pre-season, the training kit has been issued and the photos/videos are appearing on socials. Who is wearing what number?! (And yes I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything but occasionally it does an indication in to future signings)

And yes sometimes there are changes in the final submission.

Last seasons player in brackets.. Any change to that players number in square brackets.

Always nice to see players shuffled forward in the queue. I'm an old school 1 to 11+ subs guy. None of this primadonna player fixating on number 46 (or whatever) as part of his "brand" nonsense.

And yes, Tyler to 11 suggests Project Romeny has been pulled. Likewise Sibley's reassignment from 18 all the way to 32.

I think the only players not seen do far are Romeny, Ferdinan, Golding and O'Donkor. Kioso was seen arriving for training but not seen if he's got a number yet.

Will be interesting to see how many of the youth players get their numbers promoted. I think we saw Snowdon as 27 which may suggest that he'll be around the first team - which will be great.

Both Golding and O'Donkor have been in photos/videos of the training sessions

Interesting to see that only Sibley has had a major squad number change of the loaned out/not used group from last season.

Dembele, Kioso and Leigh all stayed at their 25/26 original numbers.

Sibley out to 32, higher than some of the young pros.

We can't currently register Kent who was a freebie so I doubt we would be able to register anyone else.

The above has 27 players listed, plus youth on the bench. Kent not registered, and Snowden and Marriott not permissible players, brings that down to 24. I think, but am not sure, that neither Golding or Ferdinan would be permissible either, so in theory we're at 22 plus Romeny as loans out also count within our numbers.

@Boris - don't worry, I'll move players into their correct positions later, but the way things are going, anyone can play anywhere!!

There are restrictions on who can/can't be registered. I believe that these can only be on deals for the coming season (Season long loan or 12 month contract) and where no fees have been exchanged or agreements for future deals are in place.

So in theory yes, but far from straight forward.
