Not renewing despite having a sizeable discount at my disposal from 5 ticket exchanges.

I dodged every home win this season.

The table doesn’t lie and there were not more than 2 sides worse than us. There I have said it and finally I have come to terms with that. No need for a Post Mortem on it. Everyone has chucked their reasons on the funeral pyre and they are all valid.

But we are not pretty to watch. I don’t think I have seen us go for any team from the first whistle and we have been sleepwalking into relegation for a long time. I don’t see where these players , or rather the half we will be left with will convert 30% possession into the 55/60+% we will need to win enough games to be competitive at the top end of L1.

What I would like to see is some brutal honesty from the club. There is a reality check coming and that is that we have several players who are good enough to be playing for mid table Championship clubs. Not for a mid table L1 team. Let them go.

Some unfortunately have been injured at crucial times or for long periods. I am hoping the club will allow these players to leave if decent bids come in because we really don’t have enough quality without Championship level loan players and the quality that comes in to replace them won’t be as high.

We need to take the £15m to £20m or whatever the offer is for the likes of BdK, Currie, CamBran, Spencer, Mills, Cumming, Brown, Tyler and Harris if anyone will take him, reduce the wage bill so that no first team player is on over £10k a week and get a couple of youngsters playing or get them into the squad at the very least.

We can still fish in the same waters of almost any club in L1 or L2 and get that 20 goal a season striker for L1. But it is a rebuild that is needed and not a mish mash of the players who got us up to the Championship in the first place with a smattering of youngsters because if that side goes up it comes back again to L1 first time.

The quality of the football does not need to improve drastically to get me back and it won’t at L1. But just a 70% chance of seeing my team win or even look like it might win will do.
If you honestly belive that, I think that you have made the right decision for you and wouldn't expect you to ever come back.

Must be hard watching your team bottle the play offs in league 2.

Trolling effort 1/10

You don’t sound like much of a fan, I’m surprised you bother coming in here

I have a question that im sure someone can easily answer. I am going to renew for myself and the boy. North stand. But I would like to move. A combination of being rained on in the winter, sat in the blazing sun in the summer and some of the people sat around us being annoying, I would like to move a bit further back. Am guessing I need to wait until the period ends where you can renew to see if anyone leaves seats I could move into. Issue then is I risk then losing the seats we are in now and end up with worse seats if no better alternatives become available. Is this right? Or can I move at the time I renew?

Feed the trolls and they will score!!

Renew your existing tickets then transfer to better seats when they go on general sale the ticket office will help you with this.

You can also ring up the ticket office on day one of season tickets going on sale / renewal open and they will help you move location. I done it last year.

Will be renewing, Bloomfield hasn’t got everything right but he’s given it his all & in some games I’ve seen some encouraging signs under him.

We should remember last time he was given a chance with Wycombe in league 1 with a settled side he had them outperforming against Birmingham and others.

I think there will need to be movement this summer and we have some high earners who might need to be moved on as I feel that the money could be better spent throughout the side.

But I’ll be there, and it will be fun & exciting again to go to a match again come August.

Sounds like you might be somewhere near me! What is the cause of your irritation?

A range of things if im honest! A group of gents chatting nonsense the whole game who dont appear to know who any players are or who our next or previous opponents are. They also arrive late, leave for half time early, come back late from half time, then leave on 80mins. They must miss 30mins of every game. Also a guy who has been off his nut the last few games and I think was removed a couple of times. We are also middle of the row which makes nipping out mid game difficult.
Other reasons I wont go into on here for fear of causing offence but in a dream world I would be 3 or 4 rows back and nearer the aisle!

Ah yeah okay. I know the type. Really annoying. Me and my lad are going to move from the family stand next season, I think. Depends what happens with my youngest son (who also has a season ticket, but hasn't been able to attend all season due to anxiety 😢) as to where we end up.

Renew season ticket?

Well the 4 of us from Eynsham will be yes, weird not to.

Sounds like some annoying guys sitting in front of me in SSL. Talk non football stuff loudly all game, hardly ever stop and there party piece is criticising a player for a bad pass that’s just been made when that said player has been subbed off 10 minutes before.
They could save their season ticket money, and my ears, by just sitting on a park bench instead.

I'm tempted to see about moving a little within the same area. We're sandwiched between 2 families who know each other so that is always a bit awkward as they talk over us, and the position near the stairwell entrance means we can never see anything played on the screens before kick off as that's when everyone comes in...or at the end of games when the early-leavers start heading out and you can't see what's going on at the fence end...

Well after hearing my father In law telling me we don't need a new stadium because we can't fill the one we've got or that all our players are crap because most of the good ones were on loans I guess I might aswel not bother getting a new season ticket because according to him we're doomed

I told him he's a t**t that likes to talk out his a**e

Think he got away lightly myself

The class of 1981! I bought mine for the first season after I finished university.

I hate these threads as they're pointless, you only wouldn't renew for financial and logistical reasons not which division, which players we sign/retain or who the manager is. You're either a supporter or not, simple.

Been a season ticket holder since the 1987/88 season, when I started going as an 8 year old with my grandad, and we went together ever since until his passing a few years ago. I now go mainly on my own, but always spare a glance upwards and a little smile to him whenever we score. Renewing is simply automatic for me.

I've also turned down job opportunities, because it would've meant moving too far away to continue going to games, which isn't an option.

And despite being labelled a selfish c**t multiple times a season by Mrs MD, when she wants me to do something completely irrelevant in comparison on a Saturday afternoon, I will always renew, because as I say to her, I made a lifetime commitment when I fell in love many years ago, and vowed to be faithful, through sickness and in health, for as long as I live.

Apparently I said similar things to her many years ago too, but I find that hard to believe.

Anyway, she's giving me a dirty look right now, she always seems to know when I'm typing about her!

So to sum up, yes I'm renewing, why the hell would I not?!?

Was talking to a Millwall fan before the game on Saturday, and he said that they’d already sold out their season tickets for next season!! And this is before they know what league they’re going to be in!!
