I suspect the club will do a ring round to those on the waiting list to offer them an ST. That probably won't impact general sale if they are content to be more flexible with what the overall ST cap figure is, if there even is one.

I would imagine we have some headroom on last season's figures anyway.

Not a great answer I know, but as the club hasn't shared any info on their approach to overall numbers, we're a bit in the dark.
Guess that decades of experience dictate that its acceptable to mete out the proverbial mushroom treatment to OUFC supporters. Again ?

If i were on the so called waiting list and the club didn't bother to contact me before they release the season tickets for general sale i think I would personally keep my money in my pocket

I would also suspect there are plenty available.

Being a cynical old sod I'd just buy online asap rather than wait for a call because of being "on the list".
I think I am right in saying that season tickets are on general release midday tomorrow.

My assumption is (based on nothing) that if you put your name on the list you will get a call / text in the morning either to offer you a ticket or remind you to buy one at midday.

Either way I will have my phone with me and will be poised at midday.

Not very hopeful but trying to get an additional ST for the Mrs, which would mean trying to find 2 adjacent STs and moving mine at the same time since there's no gaps either side of me. Trouble is I'll need to ring up and that's not possible until Thursday, by which time they'll all be gone you'd imagine.

Try emailing them first.

Go online tomorrow and reserve 2 new ST’s of your choice
Phone on Thursday and cancel your original.

One hour to go. Zero focus on work today. Luckily my boss is on holiday.

Just logged on to take a look and plenty of tickets available in most area.
North stand is pretty much singles behind the goal.
South stand is selling well in the middle areas and North stand is probably nor far behind.

6,500 sold which is 300 more than after the first day of sales, before season 2024/2025. But that was on 7 June, (and for Championship football). On 17 June we were at 7,362 but that was after eleven days of sales.

There were several light blue dots, meaning sales in progress, and overall I'd say it is extremely good, and way above any other League One season already. Looks like it won't be far away from the two seasons in the Championship, maybe even above them.

MASSIVE DAY.

Got me and my daughter season tickets in a pretty sweet spot behind the home benches. Can almost taste those custard creams being thrown down from the SSU.
Pleased for you Eric nice one. Me and my son got what we wanted in the east stand. A very happy day indeed. 😉

I was hoping that you may be back fot this Colin!
Last season was what just under 7,500?
Looks like we should sell well over 7,000 which seems really good

I CANNOT tell you how pleasing this figure is. Even more proof that the fan base is growing. Hopefully the move the The Triangle will kick us on again.

I’ve sat in pretty much the same seat since the Kassam opened. My old man passed away in 2006, and I moved mine (which was next to his) one over the following season so I could have his seat, and have remained there ever since.

I’ve not wanted to move, so every year for the last 10 seasons or so (ie since I’ve become a father) come general sale time I always look optimistically hoping the seat next to me has become available for ST. Today it finally happened, and I can finally tell my eldest they’re an ST holder. It’s purely selfish on my part that it’s taken so long (being stubborn and not wanting to move)…but it felt quite emotional when the order went through.

Football is a stupid game in how it gets to you in weird ways, in weird moments you don’t expect!

I completely understand that. Football is about history, community and family. It's so strange how a simple sport does that but it does and it is special.

Great stuff. Pleased for you.

if you wouldn't mind, could you possibly wear a brightly coloured hat (or wig, I suppose) so that I may correctly identify you at matches? Can't bear the thought of wasting a custard cream on just any old SSL oik!
