 2026-27 - Fixture release day

HMS Pisstheleague sets sail at the earlier time of 12:30 this year.

I think it's nice to get an early kick off as the first game and it keeps us in sync with what life will be like back in The Championship next season. Good work Aaron, a positive start despite your perceived lack of experience.

My sons birthday is 26 Dec so delighted we have a home fixture.

Very tough start ,but I hope we are ready this year ,come on the club and fans lets pull together and hit the ground running.

Did I read it correctly that the march international break is the same time as the Easter weekender

If so that's rather shite if we have enough call ups

Yep.

t should also be noted that games could be rescheduled due to international fixtures. The first international window will take place between 21 September and 6 October, followed by one week in November between 9 and 17. The final window is between 22 and 30 March, covering the Easter weekend of fixtures.

MK have a huge budget and played mostlyattractive attacking football last season

Oxford United were going toe-to-toe with (and beating) Ipswich and Southampton just a few months ago mate.

It's a cushy start, make no mistake - first four home games against 2x newly promoted and the sides who finished 12th and 17th last season. Even with tricky away games amongst that it looks a pretty generous opportunity to hit the ground running.

When are the changed kick-offs/match days for TV publicised?

So we could, probably will, have 2 games to re-arrange in the last 5 weeks, of which 2 weeks already have midweek games.
Great!

Blackpool away on Easter Monday.
Plymouth at home on Boxing day was a given!

Since and including the 2012-13 season, we’ve played Plymouth 22 times in all comps.

Four of those fixtures have been 26th and 31st December. Two at Home Park and two at the Kassam.

The EFL like to give Plymouth a ‘local’ game to make during that period.
