Don’t t know how accurate this is, but looks as if missing out on promotion is a failure for both Robinson and Salford.

Can’t help but feel pleased for Jodi Jones.

Mind you Karl pacing round the Wembley changing room pre match pleading with his players to “stay calm, stay calm” probably didn’t help.

To be fair he’s shown he can be good in div 4, we’ll see whether he cuts it in div 3. I expect he’ll be fine though.

Superb performance from him today. 2 assists and the third goal. I think I read he has had 3 ACL injuries, great dedication from him to come back and play a huge part in 2 promotions.

Agreed, though it is nice to see another club move away from the dull circle logo that oh so many clubs seems to have adopted over the last decade (coincidentally when Man City did...)

I don't care who the owners are, that's a shocker.

Yes and no.

It's a crap number, but Salford are not really a Football League club - and the support-critique shouldn't be based on that.

They're a vanity project (as are plenty of others we've seen come and (invariably) go) - and so they can't be held to normal standards.

Credit to any sad f*ck that supports them. But yes, it's complete mockery of English lower league football where we have a plethora of proud clubs that more effectively represent their community.

Salford shouldn't be anywhere near a Football League play-off final. But it's not really the fault of those 6,000.
