I’m still not sure he actually touched him.I am sure if that was us at Wembley this year, we would have been more than okay with that goal being given against us.....
Careless clipping of the heel. It may seem harsh but as far as my memory serves, that sort of incident is always given as a foul.
To mehaving varin a playoff final when the league hasn’t had it all seasonIs mental
Fixed that for you.
I find myself cheering on Stockport in this and I don’t know why. Maybe it’s just knowing that Bolton can go away disappointed again that’s fuelling it.
Sure you're not worried about RR scoring against us?I feel exactly the same. From a neutral perspective I love the idea of Stockport and Lincoln both going to the Championship.
It’s just from Oxford’s perspective next season I think there’s a multitude of reasons it’s better for Bolton to win this
Sure you're not worried about RR scoring against us?
The Stockport striker clipped the Bolton defenders leg though?Stockport equaliser disallowed after var decides the Bolton defender running into the Stockport man is a foul.
Yeah but he was just running. No attempt to foul. The Stockport striker clipped the Bolton defenders leg though?
Still a foul though and it was very clear on the replays.Yeah but he was just running. No attempt to foul.
But he didn’t …Still a foul though and it was very clear on the replays.
I'm sure the ref would have given it himself without VAR.
No, he knew he had VAR to rely on.But he didn’t …
That would be the biggest reason ever for binning var, if refs don’t make decisions that they think should be made because of it.No, he knew he had VAR to rely on.
One hopes that's the case anyway!
Yeah brain-dead defending from the Stockport lad. I do wonder if there might be a rule implemented that players with long hair have to have it tied back just due to the apparent upturn in hair-pulling incidents. But it was SO foolish to grab the Bolton guy at all given that they were both going well away from goal.
Delighted for Rodrigues though. Absolute lucky penny of a player at Wembley it turns out!
Took me back as well .Remember this incredible feeling of going up.
Congrats to Bolton.
Our time will come again![]()
Think he scored for Notts County too?Yep. 2 visits, 2 assists, 2 goals.

Think he scored for Notts County too?
Also assisted the assist for Bolton's 2nd.
The contact was very clear. But the attacker didn't instigate the contact, he just turned and ran. I think he's justified in feeling hard done by.Still a foul though and it was very clear on the replays.
I'm sure the ref would have given it himself without VAR.
Nervous last 91 minutes!Went today in the Bolton end with a mate, £2 on Ruben to score twice. Good day!
