He is a dressing room morale nightmare by all accounts.

Scored loads for us the season we had him.....we were relegated and went down completely toothless and devoid of spirit.

The only good thing he did for us was earn us a fee.....
Used to play for Margate FC..gone up in the world so to speak since then

Hopefully the injury is behind him now and we can manage his playing time as he's as good as it gets as an experienced striker at this level.

Taylor, Browne, Baldock, Bodin with a few young flair players to cover the wings and the front 3 and it looks very exciting.

Risky on a 2 year deal but if we keep him fit, he's one of the best strikers at this level. Great signing, welcome back Sam!

“After three years of going close, this year is all about mentality and there are certain non-negotiables. Some players will leave as a result but Sam will certainly fit in with it straight away.”

It’s only talk, but this is much better from KR and the club on how we position ourselves.

Great news, hopefully it's an incentivised appearance based contract rather than a large basic wage. Sure both parties would be happy if he's getting paid more to play (and score).

The square peg, round hole thing is thrown at Robinson as if it's something unique to him.

Look at Sean Clare, last season at Charlton he played CB, CM, DCM, RW and RB. With us he played at RB, CM, DCM and RW. The season before that at Hearts he played RB, CM, RW, ACM, LW and CF. The season before that at RW, CF, ACM, LW, CM.

So at least three different managers at three different clubs have played Sean Clare in multiple positions, and he's not set the world alight in any of them. So maybe the problem sits with the player rather than the manager?
And look how poorly Charlton played!

Charlie Austin is more likely to sign for Swindon than us - regardless of what division they are in. He’s a Hungerford lad, Swindon supporter and obviously has history there.

I understand he also enjoys a little dabble in the devils dandruff and more than a couple of pints.

Wouldn’t be one I’d be getting excited about.
He’ll spend more time on the treatment table.. Karl, get the pen!!

Any news on Bodin?
Still expect him to sign, but like most of our players he's probably enjoying his summer hols at the moment. I'm sure Rovers would love to resign him and even the Swine if they get promoted but Karl has openly spoke of his desire to keep him

Baldock looked excellent before his injury so that's a great signing. Probably a sign we'll play two up front next season too.

There was talk of Baldock returning to the squad if we'd have made the playoffs so hopefully his injury is OK.
