Hey

There has been a bit of negativity about the lack of iFollow videos from the club.

I compared some L1 content, with the amount of videos since 1st June.

OUFC - https://www.oufc.co.uk/ifollow/latest-videos/ - 4 videos (3 about Scholars)

MK Dons - https://www.mkdons.com/ifollow/video-archive/ - 16 videos (lots of pre season training and interviews, player signings and best bits from some players, incoming and current)

Plymouth - https://www.pafc.co.uk/argyle-tv - 6 (pre season videos and a signing interview)

Accrington Stanley - https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/ifollow/latest-videos/ - NONE

Wycombe - https://www.wwfc.com/videos/featured?section=69073170-6a6f-4af3-9a89-0c182cfafea9 - 6 videos (season reviews and some upcoming season previews)

Cheltenham Town - https://www.ctfc.com/ifollow/video-archive/ - 2 videos (goal of the season and Michael Duff on his exit).

MK Dons seem to be the best, as they have signings with new players and a few pre season interviews.

We are not the worst in terms of amount of videos, but 3/4 are about Scholars. For a club our size, i expect a lot more. If i was a person considering whether to buy a ST or not, i think it would be the latter. I have seen nothing from the club, even on Social Media to make me want to buy one! We could have easily done a few videos of the "best of" Baldock and Gorin when they signed a new contract.

I know it is pre-season, but do you see other businesses close down their marketing for 2 months a year? No, they keep the content going to keep users engaged and coming back for more!

I agree we should have seen more content by now but I guess that as soon as we see new signings plenty of new videos will appear.

It was disappointing that the preseason trip diary was only one free article with the rest to be featured in The Ox Magazine, effectively behind a pay wall.

Especially when football is not at the forefront of people's minds, there is a cost of living crisis and that period is *exactly* when you are hoping that people stump up hundreds of pounds for season tickets!

I am hoping that there will be some player announcements that might get the marketing bandwagon rolling again soon - although I suspect for many (including me!), the names of many of the players we are likely to sign will mean a quick trip to Wiki, so maybe not!

Dug out this post.

Have to say, the free content posted on Twitter regarding the Rúben Rodrigues has been fantastic and well missed over past seasons.

I did notice that Chris Williams was not doing the interviews, maybe on Holiday, yet the interview took place and the behind the scenes video was well edited.

I do believe he might be away:
