Championship 2019/20 last games tonight

Don't mind that. Hull a bit different and Charlton always a fun away day. Wigan a bit boring but at least better than Luton or Barnsley coming straight back down again.

Gutted for Brentford. Both because of the Baptiste clause and the fact they're such a well run club. Suspect they may stumble in the playoffs - they had an absolutely dream run in and completely bottled it, whereas Swansea will be flying after that absurd turn of events with Forest.

Seriously, Forest - have a word!
Final game of the season, playing at home against a lower-midtable side with nothing to play for, you get into the playoffs even with a narrow defeat and you lose 4-1.
Given the way their owner has acted previously, Sabri Lamouchi can probably begin packing!

Credit to Barnsley & Luton. You'd have got long odds of them both staying up* a few weeks ago (*pending Wigan's appeal)

I heard Sheffield Wednesday are facing points deduction too. Feel a bit sorry for Charlton....Lyle walked out at the end of the official season . Luton unbelievable, looks like Jones has what it takes to move them forward.
Can see a very difficult season ahead. Wigan, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Ipswich and Peterborough all up there to provide us with a very stiff challenge

Interesting that some people on here used Luton as an example as why we shouldn’t want to go up as they ‘will come straight back down’...
We’ve hopefully long since established that any person who doesn’t want to get promoted is a complete and utter moron.

To be fair in a corona-less season they would probably have gone down. When the season was suspended they were 6 points off safety, and Hull picked up 4 points in the 9 games post-lockdown. Seems a clear case of lockdown allowing some teams to take a breather and regroup and causing others to lose momentum (not that Hull had that much going into lockdown, but still). Not to mention, as posted above, Charlton's top scorer leaving.

But yeah obviously not arguing against an OUFC promotion!

Cardiff v Swansea PO Final......................................???
After all this time, I'm still not happy with teams finishing so far behind third place getting into the playoffs, but no doubt, just like Noton, I'm sure it will be one of these two that go up....

Brentford only bottled the last two games. West Brom have been awful since the restart (3 points out of last 12 available) and still just managed to squeak into the PL. Which I hate as they won't be anywhere but bottom 1/3 once they're there.

That last day shows why it's arguably the best league for pure entertainment in the world though.

The U's potential opponents for the forthcoming season... legal challenges excepted of course ...

Hmm. Their provisional table shows us in 4th position. I'd have hoped we'd have kicked on and improved. Robinson out. Horton out too.
