A step up in the quality of the opposition for the U-18s in the Second Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup. Away to Colchester who have a well-established and well-respected Category 2 Academy. And the match will be played in their new 10,000 seater stadium.
Hope we didn't pick up any knocks against Brizzle on Saturday, and hopefully Viktor Milton and Slavi Spasov will be fully fit.
This time last year we went to Burnley, also a Category 2 Academy, and came away from Turf Moor with a win on penalties after a cracking game. Half a dozen from that squad will be playing on Tuesday so here's looking forward to another good game and a victory.
Winners have a home draw in the third round against the newly set-up Maidenhead United Academy, which on paper should be a much easier tie.
