Decent game of decent football, capped with a 4-1 home win for league leaders OUWFC....which easily couldve been 6 or 7 in the plus column

I (rightly) got asked(politely) to mask up in CPF...was aware that a mask was needed going in etc, though wasnt (as) aware that masks were required while actually watching the match . I'll know next time.

And yes there probably will be a few more next times....OUWFC play decent attacking football

Glad you enjoyed it @Sarge

As you say the face mask once inside the stadium despite being open air was something new and was only publicised last minute so assume it was a late decision by the site.

Really good, entertaining game and plenty of goals against good opposition.

Out of preference... when in the open air, Id rather not have to wear a mask, however, if that is a requirement to watch decent live football ( hopefully a temporary requirement), Its a 'price' Im happy to pay

I've watched OUWFC ( think a nickname would be a good idea,- as said, on another YF thread, IMO, 'the yellow roses' is as good as any?) a few times live now- decent attacking football every time , I'll be going again (work permitting)

Great result.

Random question, was there a programme available?

Also, any idea why our fixtures seem to have been moved around a bit @nick68? ?

Hm. Seems certain County FA's are running cup competitions, hence the need to reschedule. Honestly expected leagues to be prioritised this season; hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us.

Yes a programme was produced.

We were due to play Plymouth away next Sunday but i think that is off due to an international call up for them and the home game against Portsmouth is also postponed as they are in their County Cup final which takes precedence over league games. Frustrating as it creates another stop/start season and means no home game until December after getting such good numbers in the past two games we can't build on it.

19 goals in six games ... perhaps OUWFC/ Yellow Roses coaches should take a few sessions with the (men's) first team squad?? ... top of the league too ...

Bit surprised the league would grant a postponement for a single international call-up but not surprised Plymouth would seek one. I knew they would struggle this season but not as much as they have.

Pompey are very lucky in that case as most cup finals from last season were abandoned, yet they will have been able to play both of theirs.

I just thought, after last season was null and void because not enough league fixtures were completed to apply the PPG method - the official line touted by Kelly Simmons - it would be the main focus, even going as far as only running the FA Cup alongside league competitions for this season.

I would expected the season to be front loaded with fixtures to get as many completed as possible in case of disruption, Cups whilst normally are important should have been side-lined for a season or even played at the back end of the season in a different format to ensure games for all teams.

I'd be interested to know if rules have been amended to factor in PPG as i don't think the EFL has yet, could be wrong on that though.
