I’m keeping my predictions the same as the 2 Sheffield teams….
This will be a cracking game under the lights!

Can't see anything other than a routine 5-2 win for this one.
We'll probably give them a 2-0 head start too.
Are Sky erecting extra temporary TV gantries for this?

This one could be a bridge too far but as long as we don’t get thrashed we’ll be OK. We need to put a strong team out whatever.
We should build a TV Gantry at the fence end for the 150,000 Leeds fans to climb and dismantle.
Think you’ve missed a 0

Never forget that when loads of pissed off Leeds fans came steaming down Osler road afterwards just as we were coming out. Crazy times.
What a win that was.

Leeds United annoy me.
I completely get it. Big football club, loads of fans, vociferous etc….so f*****g what?
I hope we don’t bow down to them again like the away fixture…f*****g hit them with everything we have. Really looking forward to it.

So grateful that we decided to get two wins in the last three and make this much less important of a game. We may already be safe!
I wouldn’t mind seeing us take the loss here, protect a few players (Brannagan, Leigh) and then go for it in Cardiff.
Should be a good atmosphere this one - I’m sad to miss it. Will stick it on the TV.
3-1 Leeds, but that’s okay.

I won't use the 'FH' phrase, because that seems to trigger people.
But three wins in the last five means there's no pressure on us for this one. We may not need another result at all to stay up now, but even if we do, this fixture is going to be followed by three much easier opportunities to get it. Leeds have the best attack in the division, and it's not remotely close. Second best defense as well.
Fans should go into this one nice and relaxed, have a good time, make a bunch of noise in front of the sky cameras and see if we can't get the Leeds players and fans a bit jittery by making a fast start.

With another season drawing to a close and our safety all but secured, it’s been nice to avoid any ‘must win’ games.
I think we will get a point on Friday.

If the bottom 3 all lose in games played before we kick off on Friday then it’s a free hit, we can’t end up any closer to the relegation zone.
On the other hand if that happens we could make ourselves safe live on sky in the highest profile game we will play this season, which has some very obvious upsides.
Going to be very tough though, they are the sort of side we struggle with, move the ball fast, so I doubt we will “go for it” in any way, we want a tight affair here.

First thought was for a back 5, lock down defensive game but, Leeds are too good for that. Let's go at them, disrupt their play, keep them busy and look for those opportunities to hit on the break. If we can force a few errors without making too many of our own, maybe we can find a way to nick this.

For all of their dominace they had at Elland Road, we did create some good chances and Chemmy caused them problems...you are right , lets not sit back and try and soak it up, we need get in there faces , close them down, dont give them time be aggressive in our approach.First thought was for a back 5, lock down defensive game but, Leeds are too good for that. Bogle and Firpo are more fussed about going forward rather than back. They can be got at.
We were terrible away to Leeds, like they were playing a non league team and we looked doomed that day. However that can play into our hands, we won’t be that bad again and it could make them complacent. They are under pressure for a result, if we can keep it tight then the longer it goes on the more we can come into the game, that’s why I don’t agree with the get at them talk, we need to make it difficult for them by not give a stupid goal away.
It’s still unlikely, but it’s not without hope and our results at home to Burnley and Sheffield United should give us something to hold onto, but those results came off the back of not conceding. We can’t do anything but lose an end to end all out brawl though, we have to be smarter than that.

I think GR will decide on the team after the afternoon games have been completed, if the bottom 3 all lose which indeed they may well do, then I can see GR resting key players till Monday, he may even do that regardless of the afternoon results.
Never want to see us pick a weakened side but I would far rather see all key players fit for Monday when a point will most likely confirm survival

Third game against a Yorkshire side in under a fortnight, theres no reason why it cant be a hat trick of wins against Yorkies either. Sold out crowd, under lights , attack, dont sit back deep, put chances created away, 2-1 home win TG back on the scoresheet at last & a late Gregly winner

The pressure is all on Leeds, I get the feeling we may see a handbrake off style have a go approach for this one and fingers crossed we get some breaks and a healthy lead to try and defend. Leeds have lots of injury concerns at the moment, even bamford is getting minutes.
I think we will score first but Leeds on to win 2-3 highly entertaining game great noise from both sets of fans

Just to clarify the arithmetic: we can not be mathematically safe after the Leeds game - if all results were to go in our favour on Friday we would only be guaranteed to finish ahead of Luton and Plymouth. If the bottom 3 all lose in games played before we kick off on Friday then it’s a free hit, we can’t end up any closer to the relegation zone.

If we were to win and Cardiff lose on Friday, they would still be able to get level with us on 51 points.

If we were to win and Cardiff lose on Friday, they would still be able to get level with us on 51 points. There goal difference is currently 4 worse than ours, so under that scenario it would be at least 6 worse at the end of Friday. If that was followed by 3 wins for them and 3 defeats for us, that would be a minimum 6 goal swing back to them, so they would probably end up with a superior goal difference.
Oh yeah, fair enough.
We would be everything but mathematically safe then.
I guess if you are only looking at Cardiff then yes theoretically they could catch us and we are not safe from them, but since its not just Cardiff and teams below us are playing each other then a win on Friday should guarantee safety.Just to clarify the arithmetic: we can not be mathematically safe after the Leeds game - if all results were to go in our favour on Friday we would only be guaranteed to finish ahead of Luton and Plymouth.

I had looked at all the teams but I have rechecked - it depends on Hull's result at home to Coventry tonight. If Hull win or draw, we can't be mathematically safe on Friday.I guess if you are only looking at Cardiff then yes theoretically they could catch us and we are not safe from them, but since its not just Cardiff and teams below us are playing each other then a win on Friday should guarantee safety.
However if Hull lose tonight and both Derby and Hull lose on Friday, they would still be on 43 and 44 points with 3 games to do. As they still have to play each other on 26 April, they couldn't both reach 51 points, so we would be mathematically safe.
