Surely a ref who did nothing controversial, booked no players unnecessarily and kept control of the game is (compared to many many of the officials we have seen) much better than 'average' though?

fair comment @ZeroTheHero .... given most referees arent, in general, very 'generous' to OUFC (IMO) , I tend likewise to not be very generous when awarding marks out of ten in YF ref watch :sneaky:
 
I thought he was pretty fair tbh, kept the game moving and kept control pretty well. Didn't make it all about him.
 
Was very generous for us. Cameron and Fosu should have easily been booked as maybe should Gorrin. 7/10 for me
