Massive game ,can we get a bounce, bounce, bounce ,they are a different side than the start of the season but as they say football is a funny old game. 2-1 win please and a great performance .COYYS

Really enjoyed listening to that, certainly bringing a fresh energy and approach to the squad and the club as a whole. It might not translate immediately into points as things might take time to work through on the pitch, though it clearly won’t be through lack of enthusiasm and effort.

Really looking forward to the game now, win, lose or draw, I don’t think we’ll be seeing negative turgid performances, and just hope we can get 3 points and a huge lift that the players, club and supporters need.

His enthusiasm has got me believing again, so like he said, all of us have to be pulling in the same direction and believe.

His enthusiasm and the done and rumoured transfer business has me believing!

Roll on 3pm, bring in the noise!!

He certainly gives us fresh hope. There will be no instant turnaround but we will at least be able to enjoy more attractive football. But let’s not expect too much too soon.

Excited for today, starting to believe again that we could stay up.
Whatever the result, got a feeling that the players will be leaving everything out on the pitch.

Two winnable home games in quick succession.

We really need that new manager bounce to kick in straight away.

As always I’m interested to see the line up, formation and tactics especially with the new man in charge. Also looking forward to seeing some of the new signings in action and more minutes from Brannigan.

We know the players have a good performance within them, needs to be a Southampton one rather than the Swansea no show.

Let’s be positive and say a 2-1 home win.

2 nil Oxford. Lanekshear and BDK.

Bristol City do have some players that worry me. Mehmeti being one. I think he's a top player and a danger man.

I think both teams will score. I'll go 1-1

And that would be a pretty decent result to get us going under Bloom.

Think we should go into this and back ourselves, but let's not get away from the fact that Bristol City are a strong side who are chasing the play-offs and can score goals. Would like a win to start the new era off in the right way, but a point with a decent performance wouldn't be the end of the world, especially if we could back it up in Tuesday

Good luck Matt Bloomfield in your first match. Looking forward to seeing the lineup never mind the match:

Oxford United 2 - Bristol City 1.

Cumming
Long, Helik, Brown, Currie
De Keersmaeker, Brannagan
Mills, Peart-Harris, Krastev
Lankshear.

Hopefully with the Brentford lad getting 20 minutes in the second half.

No Davies in the match day squad. Injured, or making way for a new man coming in?

I fancy a hard fought win with one goal in it.
Also today is the day we get a penalty.
