new regime (in the dugout) off to a winning start, with the same result as at their place earlier this season, 3-1 home win

Forgot we won there.

A chance of a maiden Championship 'double' (none last season).

It's either this Saturday, an away win at Derby or at Southampton - or else it goes to the penultimate game of the season at home to Wednesday...

Good luck to their analysis team for this one. New Head Coach, new players, presumably a new approach.
I can't begin to predict the team, let alone the formation and strategy.
And I have no idea which Oxford United will turn up.

I'd call their bluff:

Ingram
Long, Helik, Brown, Currie
Dembele, BDK, CamBran, Krastev
Harris & Bradshaw

They won't be expecting that!

I can see Ingram starting. Have to admit I never saw a performance coming from him against MK last week. Need a strong defence on this one, and Lankshear has to start

🤣🤣🤣

Only on YellowsForum can someone (quite clearly taking the p*ss) suggest something completely ridiculous and clearly part of a wider joke for our amusement.

Only for the following poster to earnestly suggest the same thing in the following post.

I love this place.

Or Phillips if he is back? I just remember that one great game he had before his injury (I know it was just one but there is still a player there)
'One great game' was more like one half of him being half decent from where I was sitting. Add in every time he's come in from the cold it's taken him about half a dozen appearances to get up to a passable level, I would be extremely surprised if he was in the starting XI.

And to finish it off, "still a player in there" when WBA had said his legs had completely gone in the 23/24 season I think at this point he should be a break and use in case of emergency type player. About with his injury record, likely to take that 'break' aspect literally.

Looking forward to seeing what team MB puts out and how we are set up. Half way through the season and it’s the starting point of a new manager who will hopefully turn the fine margins in our favour.

I've not been too impressed with Phillips in general but he was exceptional in that home game before his injury - a real standout performance. Not suggesting that's a reason to reintegrate him so quickly but was it a coincidence the first game he plays in that position, more centrally, he has his best game yet ?

So will it be 'Bloomfields Yellow army'? Or 'Matt Bs Yellow Army'? Or 'Matty Bs Yellow Army'?...

Or something completely different?
