A good start to the season for Watford, we last played them in 1999, 0-0!

Not feeling confident TBH....

it would be just like us to follow a league defeat with a win in the cup, so on that basis 3-0

Surely we'll be geared up for a fight after how bad we played on the weekend. A promising 1-1.

We will win tomorrow will be typical Oxford win the games were not suppose to ? but then play like we did against a team like Lincoln as I say typical

A fine victory and then everyone gets carried away and predicts that we’re going to P**s the league

Surely Saturday restored your sight somewhat.?
not really @westyorkshireexile ;) ... loooooong suffering U's fan me, always full of optimism at the start of a season.... was, of course, disappointed with the result, and the miserly amount of shots on target*, as well as the long time issues/ vulnerability defending set-pieces still appears to be rife, but after the disappointment and heat of the moment annoyances were superseded by something resembling reality, but for fine margins (* and Palmer's goal keeping for the imps at several key, albeit rare, moments during the game), we' could, maybe should have bought at least a point home. Plus MApp really did do his homework

The U's will come good over the next few competitive games, IMO, and more so against footballing sides too:)

Taylor, Ruffels, Sykes and winnall all unavailable, along with Hanson and Gorrin and Atkinson - could be an interesting line-up:

Probably same team as last Tuesday except Sykes. Possibly try someone else in place of Kelly so he is fresh for Saturday.
