If we were to play the side I've suggested, I'd be more happy to go, as we'd be able to have a proper look at some of the newer signings, and not have to watch the usual "first choice" shite we're being subjected to this season.

It would actually be refreshing to see a side that didn't have Brannagan, Placheta, Mills, Cumming, Long, Brown, Harris or Lankshear in it (even though I love Longy to bits, and would have him as my POTS)

But no, I wouldn't have chosen to have gone on Sunday, and I do have stuff that needs doing that day, as it's my only day off this week, but ordinarily whatever I had to do would always take a backseat on a match day, but I've found it so depressing watching us this season, we ALWAYS look awful, and can't even CREATE chances, let alone actually have an attempt on goal or score, we can't even retain possession for more than a couple of seconds, it's been painful to watch, but watch I have, and watch I will, but no, I wouldn't have chosen to on this occasion.

But I've been watching Oxford since the mid/late 80's, and I've seen it all during that time, the good, bad and the ugly, seen well over a thousand games in my time, so I've earned the right to decide if I want to go or not, without having to justify myself to anyone.

But as usual, I'll be there, because as much as they're doing my head in this season, it's the club I love, and through thick and thin. good or bad, I'm stuck with them!
Through thick and thin l have followed this club since my first game in 1967, young then and could manage the away games. One I always remember was away to Bournemouth, Ron Atkinson tanking down the wing just going past me and I shouted out come on Oxford, he looked across grinning, put his thumb up and then promptly lost the ball. 0-0 that day.
Best part was the coach in them days stopped at a pub on the way home!

As yellow supporters we always follow the club we love through the bad times as well as the good, with the occasional eureka moment.

I think shrieking woman from the SSU deserves a chance in goal TBF. She'd spot impending danger a mile off and she'd bally well make sure the whole team was alive to it!
She must have a sister in the east stand too. Spots danger before it happens and screams whenever the opposition has the ball even in their own box. Also screams shoot whenever we occasionally go into the opposition half.

It’s attitudes like that, of course, which will help to kill off the competition.
Turn up and enjoy watching your team. Then you won’t feel so guilty about coming along to watch them in the 5th round against Liverpool.
Trust me I haven't killed anything, how could I get excited about playing Liverpool youth team in the next round. I've been there seen it & done it & worn the t-shirt. This competition along with the league cup is a mockery. Enjoy the Micky mouse cup, I'd rather support the team to avoid relegation...

1.00pm ticket update on Thursday and there are currently 2,222 home seats available - spilt by stand they are North 294, East 867, South Lower 589, South Upper 472.

Three days of sales left to kick off so we will get above 8000 home fans (home capacity including boxes is approx, 10,000) and total crowd will be in region of 9,500-10,000 - probably towards the lower end unless there is a late surge in sales.

I’m sure I’ve got as many tee shirts as you, Mr Knee.
Enjoy sitting at home watching TV
I’ll support the team in BOTH competitions.

Well, I think the chap behind me who shouts 'Oh, here we go" in a voice of doom whenever an oppo player gets the ball in our half deserves a turn as defensive coach in the technical area. To be fair, he's been right more often than not this season.

I can assure you I won't be watching football on TV.
I'm not a armchair supporter.
I have other interests apart from football.
Don't you worry I'll be at the next proper match..
Don't blame fans, blame the big time Charlie clubs..

By going to cup games you put money in the pot to fund the club though, that helps with fighting relegation.

I wonder if this is the same woman in the SSU very central, I won't give her seat number to save her embarrassment. She screams No, please, No please , No, No , No just as an opposition forward lines up to shoot at goal.
Her scream is deafening.

She also shouts out Ref that was a backpass every time an opposition player heads the ball to his goalkeeper.

Always makes me chuckle.

I do go to cup games always have done.
I'm just not prepared to anymore, as each season it's got more of a farce

despite the fa cup being a mere shadow of what it once was, thanks to law changes and more so PL greed, Im going to be there, at a stupid time on a Sunday afternoon, to support my team, in person. PL Sunderland will likely disrespect championship strugglers, 'little' Oxford and put out a weakened side, a late 1-0 smash n grab winner to take the mighty U's through to the next round
You genuinely cannot help yourself, can you?!! 😂

If Bloomfield is looking for a game to try something whacky with playing people out of position and being creative with formations, maybe this is the one, rather than the more critical league games ….

Bench - Long, Brown, Brannagan, Harris, Placheta, MPH, Donley, Rooskens, Emakhu

Don't care about the result, game time for those that need it. Options from the bench.

Bloomfield needs a win ,we need a win ,the fans need something to cling on to before we implode here's hoping
