So frustrating. Started well first 15, ended well, but in that nothing middle 20 they took their chance. Both teams stifling each other quite effectively, bit of a nothing game. At least a point in this for us though.

The front 3 are being dominated, and look like they know it. And given up. If the booing was for not getting the ball forward at the end of the half. It’s there to see, nothing upfront yet.

I know it’s frustrating but let’s not pretend that Preston are loads better than us or deserve to be ahead. This is two poor sides, one of which has had a bit of luck, and the other who hasn’t.

I think the problem with how we’re executing this formation is that both Leigh and Ter Avest are unwilling to get high and wide, so we have very little width and often almost no options for the man on the ball. Leigh in particular looks terrified every time the ball is passed to him, he can barely control it!

When we pass it around a bit we look ok, but we seem to usually end up slinging it in the box from deep hopefully for one of our strikers to have a go at, and the balls in are usually of quite low quality.

We definitely, definitely miss Brannagan. Vaulks is just not the same.

The lack of width or quality balls into the box really noticeable. Vaulks is getting into some good pockets of space on that right hand side but ideally you’d want BDK in those positions I think.

We’ve got no pace at all and no quality in the oppositions half. Brown’s crossing is awful but he shouldn’t be the one doing that! The only way we’re going to score based on first half is from a set piece, and why can’t we attack a Vaulks throw in better, we very rarely have anyone on the end of it yet again.

Having said all that they are not much better than us and yet are in the play off spots! So frustrating. Need to make some half time changes today

We sent a team set up to contain for 60 mins and it hasn't. Paying for being conservative. We have to get some pace and width on. Immediate changes. This is very winnable still but needs a strong start or it gets very messy.

BDK is the only one of the pitch that can play decent ball into them though, and there’s very little being offered on the wings.
