What are you on about. Very few fans were happy when Des was sacked, im sure i saw 90% in a bbc poll didn't want him sacked..
From the board or the fans? My view is the majority of the fans were behind Des when he went...I am hearing more grumbles about Rowett than i did about Des...You've missed the point.
Des didn't receive half as much support as Rowett does this season despite having near equal struggles in the league.
Bless you that you think you wind me up. Not even Kip winds me up on here![]()

Just for youDon’t get me wrong here, but we are not good enough at the moment. Not helped by some ‘interesting’ managerial decisions. That said, if Oxford didn’t have bad luck, they’re have no luck at all……but, hey, it’s Interesting Bicester Yellow hasn’t voted on the Ref Watch poll. Perhaps He/she/whateva, doesn’t believe his own narrative?
Just sayin.COYYs!
Similar here, I don’t care what anyone thinks of me in life in general.
So anyone can say what they want. I don’t lose sleep over it.
I have to say it’s quite satisfying being correct how our season would go after being moaned at for being ‘negative’
Ah well, keep rowett and we will be down by the end of March, and then we will have to get rid of him anyway.
It’s satisfying that it proves melts like you wrong.Steady your mask is slipping, troll.
Only a non-supporting ‘supporter’ would be satisfied with where we are. Speaks volumes.
That does ring a bell. To be fair does mean he was lined up before Mitchell arrived on the scene. Crap signing though and entirely predictable.Bradshaw was being tracked and was a target before Rowett turned up. Waldron said as much when interviewed after the signing.
Im hearing more fans saying Rowett should go than did about Buckingham when he went and you seem to except that most fans were unhappy when Des was sacked so supported him. I think it is less about me missing your point but rather your point is slightly contradictory! The fans. Though I agree that most were unhappy when he was sacked.
My point is that there was much less vocal support for him on here and excuses being made for the poor run (Players, Recruitment, Board) etc.
It’s satisfying that it proves melts like you wrong.
I expected to be where we are, so it is what it is.
I’ve mentally prepared myself for the fact, you and others have deluded yourself with the fact you think we are good enough & now you are slowly coming to realise we have a manager who wants the sack with a better squad than Des had.

He is.Nothing is proven in December. Let’s see where we are at the end of April.
You may want to throw in the towel now, but me and other ‘melts’ have a bit more backbone.
I also expected us to be in the bottom 6 ahead of the first day, but not because of the manager, and I stand by the fact that he isn’t the root cause of our current position.
When Des was sacked he was struggling which is why he was sacked, it just happens there was still a lot of support for him from fans when he was struggling . More than for Rowett i would say...Not really.
There are two points in time here:
1) When Des was struggling
2) When Des was sacked
My initial point raised the fact that there was less vocal support for Des when he was struggling as Rowett had received up until recently. You then changed the narrative and moved it to when he was sacked.
You are talking about someone who bets on us getting relegated, actually puts money on it! Should say everything.Steady your mask is slipping, troll.

Because Des actually gave a s**t. Even when we lost we went for it. Remember Watford away. Threw the kitchen sink at them and was unlucky to lose. Because a manager like him had the b*****s to go for it. Also he came and thanked the fans every game. Des got sacked for the same run of form we are on now, with a worse squad. Id actually love him back. Even if we went down with Des last season, id still fancy him to get us out of league one again. When Des was sacked he was struggling which is why he was sacked, it just happens there was still a lot of support for him from fans when he was struggling . Des was ‘one of our own’ so got more support. Rowett is an experienced, seasoned manager with plenty of miles in him so is always going to get less good will than Des.When Des was sacked he was struggling which is why he was sacked, it just happens there was still a lot of support for him from fans when he was struggling . Oh indeed. You are talking about someone who bets on us getting relegated, actually puts money on it! Should say everything.
Yes, that is my point. 90s yellow feels there was less support from fans for Buckingham than Rowett when he was struggling and I feel there was more, partly for the reasons you state and partly for other reasons...Because Des actually gave a s**t. Yes, you agree with my point then!!Des was ‘one of our own’ so got more support. Rowett is an experienced, seasoned manager with plenty of miles in him so is always going to get less good will than Des.
We’ve been relegated lads, but don’t worry I’ve won a tenner.Oh indeed.
Don’t see what’s wrong with that if I think it’s going to happen.
Softens the blow a bit in my eyes.
Currently out of his depth? As experienced as you say he his and known for his solid set up. We leak goals for fun and we arent hard to beat. Tactically s**t!Des was ‘one of our own’ so got more support. Rowett is an experienced, seasoned manager with plenty of miles in him so is always going to get less good will than Des.
Damn, you’ve rumbled me I had £3 on at 5/2We’ve been relegated lads, but don’t worry I’ve won a tenner.
From his interview today it sounded like he has tried to go away from his blue print and try and play a different way but it isn’t working. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him revert back to a solid back line that plays for the next few games, quick wingers, Lankshear up front and he sticks with it.Currently out of his depth? Currie has to play for me. Mad shout but i wouldn’t mind Davies as a CDM. Good on the ball, as we need someone else next to Vaulks. When I say a solid back line I mean something like a back 4 like: Long, Helik, Davies, Brown. No nonsense and will put their body on the line.

BDK prefers the CDM role from what I understand. Our issue is getting the right player to play infront of them which seems to be an issue so far this season along with our wingers.Currie has to play for me. Mad shout but i wouldn’t mind Davies as a CDM. Good on the ball, as we need someone else next to Vaulks. Give BDK more freedom.
I agree Spencer starts over Long at RB all day every day but with him being injured, Long is our best RB right now.I was impressed with Davies’ distribution today, look the best passer amongst our back line. Not sure that’s enough to nail down a place but it added a bit of quality. A back four can work with Brown at left back but a fit Spencer is ahead of Long all day.
I hate to say it, but Vaulks just isn’t quick enough on the ball. If he hits it first time, fine, but if we are going to survive in this league we need midfielders who are dynamic and quick-footed.
