we're going to start putting chances created away sooner or later- why not this Saturday? if we dont sit back deeper and deeper as the 2nd half goes on, were going to get a decent win, keep a clean sheet and in the process start reducing our negative GD

3-0 home win, in front of the smallest home league crowd of the season

Cumming
Ter Avest Helik Brown Currie
BDK
Krastev L.Harris
Goodrham
Prelec Lankshear

Ingram, Long, Davies, Leigh, Vaulks, Mills, Placheta, M.Harris, Romeny

Going to be a tough game but with the exception of Stoke this season and Middlesbrough last recently playing the better teams in the division at home has seemed to suit us.

Really looking forward to the reaction on here when Bradshaw starts.

Preston at home, after drawing against Coventry with 10 men, god forbid what they will do to us.

Even if tactics are a scam you must see that great big problem you’ve created on the right side of the pitch.
Not really any more of a problem than any of our other options have been causing.

Our wide options are shite, so might as well try something different, and lets not forget, Krastev is not a wide player, although he keeps being played as one.

No but you had the good sense to at least put a left back on that side so the right stood out a bit more.

Spencer is still injured isn’t he?
Ter Avest is better further forward, and unconvincing at RB, but Sam Long, whilst clearly not as good at RB as CB, has been one of our best performers this season, and needs must.

Well Coventry had won 7 1 and we had lost 6 0 prior to our game and guess what? Yes we played veey well and drew.
Not sure if you go to home games, but if you have been to Coventry, Derby, Milwall, Leicester, Ipswich, Middlesbrough you would expect us to give a good account of ourselves and have a decent chance?

Eh she probably only goes to three games a year

We'll get a result. Possibly a win. We'll look half decent. One or more of ter Avest-Krastev-Romeny will have a particularly good game. We'll string passes together, play through the lines. Attack with purpose. Look like a very competent Championship outfit that could actually win back-to-back games at this level.

We'll then go to Charlton and meekly surrender. This place will be awash with posters who have seemingly completely forgotten how well we played the previous week as they patronise us all as to how we can't expect to compete with the 1947 FA Cup Winners and how ter Avest-Krastev-Romeny (delete as appropriate) are not Championship standard.

Rinse and repeat.

That would be fine. 1.5 points a game average will keep us up, and I don't care what geeks on here say.

If we get a win, I for one will be delighted. Our home form will start to have really picked up.
We are in the bottom 7 to 8 teams in.the Division, and I expect that all of those have more bad days than good.
Interesting to hear on The Dub, that Charlton and Pompey are pretty awful at the moment.
I think that we need to stay up however we do it, and look to get better players next season. This season? If we do stay up, we will have some good moments but in all likelihood we will be poor at times.
If we played good football consistently week on week, we would be half way- not sure we are good enough for that

Given that we can't possibly win two games in a row, I'd argue it would be better to not win against Preston so we can then beat Charlton, who are a busted flush and dead certs for relegation.
