Even beyond that, it says “Crewe have decided the game should be postponed“.Says “postponed”
they need to sort out the rules - doesn't seem to be consistent. I doubt Tranmere wanted to play on Saturday away at Salford with 7 out of their team because of it, but that game had to go ahead. Not sure efl can do anything, except in the unlikely event they can prove a club is at fault (eg for not having tested players sufficiently in advance).
Whilst it is funny to say ‘give us the three points’, we do need to know the grounds to this postponement.
If Crewe players testing positive is the excuse and with a tinfoil conspiracy hat on, could a team with a few legitimate injury concerns or a non-Covid illness running through the camp not say ‘got a few positive tests in here’ and have a game postponed for when they know that they’ll have players back?
If games are going to be postponed at every instance of Covid, we’re never going to finish this season …
OK, I'll go with 'The Crewe Flu'.I'm going to start calling it the 'Crewe-Virus', it's my version of the 'China-virus'.
