Stopped at Rotherham Services on the way back and I have to say, what a treat. Clean, modern, and those hand dryers… wow. Only been open a few months apparently. Seems a few of the locals aren’t happy that it’s filled with the usual fast food chains rather than small local businesses, but if you’re popping to a motorway service station in search of a farmer’s market then there’s probably something severely wrong with you.

Football match was quite good also.

Tebay is lovely n all, but you need to take out a mortgage to buy most of the stuff in there

Stopped at Rotherham Services on the way back and I have to say, what a treat. Clean, modern, and those hand dryers… wow. Only been open a few months apparently. Seems a few of the locals aren’t happy that it’s filled with the usual fast food chains rather than small local businesses, but if you’re popping to a motorway service station in search of a farmer’s market then there’s probably something severely wrong with you.

In fairness, I think that you're far more eloquent than Mark and would have presented a better argument. In my opinion, Mark came across a bit whinny and childish in his comments yesterday and undermined the issues at hand. Jerome, who has asked a few difficult questions himself at times, made him look a bit silly.

I've not spoken about the embargo situation publicly because I simply don't know enough about it having other commitments in recent weeks. However, where there are legitimate concerns, these need to be raised in the right way. I'm not sure that Mark did that yesterday, although I appreciate he was talking as a "concerned fan" rather than in any official capacity.

Absolutely this. Hate it for the same reason, totally disrespectful to the team we're supposed to be supporting. And the 'I want to go home' one - can't think of one reason at all to sing that one either, not motivational in any way and wasn't 15 years ago either. At least we can't do the Garden Shed one this season.
That said, the motivational supportive chanting and clapping particularly in the 10 minutes leading up to the goal was fantastic.
Well done to the team and absolutely made up for Sam Long.

He only signed there at end of Feb but yes picked up a hamstring injury in training. Completely predictable having not trained regularly at everyday intensity for over a season.

Excellent win yesterday.
Lovely lovely narrative with the Long winning goal. Nearly nearly there.

Met Wednesday supporting friend before the game at a hotel in the centre. Turned out to be the one that our squad were at. CamBran and Bradshaw opting for a middayish coffee whilst Ruben had a deliveroo Starbucks turn up. Certainly worked!

Yes I was wondering why that wasnt possible. Mind you they werent too bad though I would much prefer Nathan and Jerome surely that wouldnt be that difficult to do.
