Lets keep the winning run rolling , we have momentum , its going to be a chilly early March evening, a repeat of Friday's (excellent) away win scoreline is my prediction , ( that said a cleansheet would be even better) , 3-1 win

Slightly separately, anyone know when any remaining seats in block 12 would be released, if they're available?

I'm bringing an extra person along, and ideally want three together which isn't available near my usual ST seats. I imagine there might be space to sit together anyway, especially in the Family Stand on a Wednesday night, but would ideally like to guarantee it.

I miss @Colin B 😢

Play like we did on Saturday and we win this. All will become clear after about 10 minutes, as it so often has in our midweek games this season.

1-1
It will be terrible if we play like we did Saturday. Blackburn will score 50+ goals as our lads won’t be there!

Play like we did on Friday though and we stand a good chance 😉

Assuming we go with the same Xi which you would think we would baring injury, when was ten last time we played the same XI 3 games in a row?

I’m not going to make it on Wednesday, does anyone know if Ticket Exchange is open? I haven’t seen any emails. 🤔

I watched the Blackburn v Pompey game on TV on Saturday, and it was truly terrible. Pompey the more cohesive side, and clearly missing important players, scored with only shot on target. Blackburn have a few decent players, but there is absolutely zero cohesion, and they really didn't like Pompey's press. They also scored with only shot on target (a deflected one). If we can play like we did on Friday we should win. But this is Oxford - so who knows.

Just don't lose ,we all want a win ,keep the expectations low ,be patient a we will all take a horrible win .COYYs

Play like Friday and we win this one quite comfortably. After WBA and Preston, its hard to make a case for any changes to the 11. Konak has been a bit of a revelation next to Brannagan, Donley is getting better and better and Helik deserves to keep his place in the side after 2 very good performances. The only change for me, would be Brodie Spencer coming at RB.

2-0: Lankshear and Brown

How many are Blackburn bringing for this? Have they sold out?

This is as big as the West Brom game. Home advantage has to be taken at some point and we have to be up for the fight. It can't just be picking up a win every so often.

Neither WBA or Preston played well against us but that was not the reason we won. We won through hard work and a gameplan which is now starting to stick. Yes, it's essentially an easier-on-the-eye version of what Rowett delivered for us from January to May 2025 and with players who are generally better too, but who cares if we set piece our way to safety?

Aerial bombardment for Blackburn on Wednesday. Let's get into them.

No chance. Will be a half full away end, if that. The best comparable fixture (Bristol City on a Tuesday night back in November) they took 467.

Will more than likely to be the lowest Championship following we've had at ours across the last two seasons (Hull's 863 last season, to beat).

More to the point - how are our tickets selling? I'm no dot counter, but bearing in mind our home crowd tends to dip to (or below) 9k for a midweek night game there is a good chance this will be our first sub-10k Championship crowd.

Which would be another damning indictment of the Oxfordshire public's appetite for it's football club.

Blackburn’s run in is absolutely horrific, about as bad on paper as you could hope for as a relegation candidate: the top three, Blades and Saints both away, and (as well as us) two more six pointers against Leicester and West Brom. And that’s before you get on to a manager who will surely be at least partly distracted by goings-on at international level.

Make no mistake, we win here and they’re going to start looking at the table and wondering where their next points are coming from. An absolutely enormous opportunity to haul someone down into the mire with us. Touch wood, but I think if we win on Wednesday we will ultimately finish above them.

What’s more, with reasonably favourable fixtures for those around us this midweek (Leicester, Baggies and Pompey all at home against Bristol City, Southampton (ok, that’s tricky) and Swansea, respectively), there’s an opportunity for all them to pick up points, undoing some of our good work of the last 9 days if we were to lose.

It’s not bigger than the Baggies game last week, I don’t think - that was do-or-die - but it’s bloody close.

Don't be rediculous, they would only score 1. There would be nobody to kick off again...
Reminds me of a joke I always enjoyed.

Oxford are playing Swindon. The day of the game, Brannagan gathers his team mates and says “you know what lads, these are s**t. Why don’t I take care of this on my own, you all go down the pub and make a start on the celebrations”.

Off all the lads go and they find a pub with sky sports news on. The game kicks off and sure enough, at 3.03 the first update comes in: Oxford 1-0 Swindon, Brannagan (3). They can’t believe it and all order another round of drinks.

At 3.17, there’s another update. Oxford 2-0 Swindon, Brannagan again. Incredible! They all start to relax, thinking Cam has it sorted, and they settle in for a session.

Just before half time, Shemmy notices that Swindon have got a goal back. Even worse, in the 90th minute the lads see that they get an equaliser.

Those in the bar are a good few beers deep now and they all agree that the draw is disappointing but Brannagan did an unbelievable job all on his own.

Shortly after full time, Cam wanders in and they’re surprised to see he looks furious at himself.

“I’ve let you all down lads” he says “I’m sorry”.

Sam Long is the first to comfort him. “What are you talking about skipper, you just held Swindon to a draw all on your own. We will be talking about this for years, it’s incredible. How can you possibly think you let us down?”

“Nah, I let you all down and I’m sorry” Cam insists.

Long won’t have it. “What are you talking about?” He asks.

“I got sent off in the 27th minute” Cam replies.

Surely we will just call it a sell out like we always do? Those empty seats belong to another stadium.

Did we really claim the Norwich game was >10,000? It felt sparse even before the game started to send people home early.

Only 2 shot on target the ones that went in. I think

Huge game, win and we bring Blackburn right back into the relegation scrap. This could be really important in the grand scheme of things, so we are not just in a relegation battle with Leicester and WBA - the more teams in it, the greater our chances of survival.

Same starting 11, same level of performance from Friday, same result 3-1 🤞🏻

Was talking to a chap yesterday, I told him about the passing of my dad , but I emphasised he got his 100 birthday telegram from the Queen . The chap replied, I can go one better, on my Daughters fourteenth birthday she had a phone call from Andrew Mountbatten !

Yes. We have 7,500 season ticket holders and Norwich had a full away end, so that's 9,000 even before they went on general sale

Long Makosso Helik Brown
Konak Brannagan
Mills Donley Jeon

Obviously if Currie is fit then don’t change the back four & stick with the same four who started at Preston.

Would like to see Jeon played on the left as a direct left winger in a home game (done very well there v Sunderland) & Peart Harris may need to be taken out as he’s been off it a bit recently.
