Unfortunately agree with this. Hopefully I amJust like us Derby will be looking at the games they can get 3 points from.
This will be close to top of that list.
They won’t have a new manager but looks like they may have one for the next game.
Can see them winning this 1 or 2-0 I’m afraid, with Yates on the scoresheet.
Hoping it’s not the case and we can put in a Milwall away type performance or Stoke away but take our chances.
Away from home we don’t score many so one is never enough unless our defence and Cumming are exceptional we will concede.
In away games Leigh doesn’t get forward as much so that means our main goal scoring threat is nullified

I don’t think on paper we ‘should’ win any away game at this level - I think most teams in the league have a good home record (not checked my facts there). We certainly can win and I hated the lack of belief around here early in the season as we’re more than capable and we’ve proven that now. But this is, much like Plymouth away, a very difficult game and the stakes being so high will only add to the difficulty level. Derby will want this with a noisy crowd behind them so we need to want it much more but stay calm early in the game. If we need to hang on a bit, then hang on.On paper we should win but Derby got a good point Saturday and there will be a bit of an extra spring in their step with a new manager in waiting and the opportunity to build on the point at Norwich. Another hard fought, perfectly acceptable, 0-0.
These posts were always coming.Reading your posts you would think we were bottom with one win from ten games.

I would hate to see you when you are being glass half emptyI’m a realist who has been supporting the Yellows for 60 years.
That has made me a glass half full supporter.
Just think that at the start of this campaign we would struggle to stay up, nothing has changed.
What GR has done has given me hope, but away from home we are not good and the trouble with that is it puts pressure on the home games.
Things change so quickly in this league our winning one win in 15 under Des became a winning/ drawing streak for nine games. We could go on another losing run and it’s very very difficult.
Hope we win both the next two games because if we do that is very much securing our future in this division
If anyone on the forum is able to leak a story to the local Derby rag at about 3pm saying it's all fallen through with Eustace, that'd be handy.Eustace not announced yet. Maybe contract negotiations will drag on.

According to the Derby forum we have a weaker side than them…
But given that they literally haven’t won a single game yet in 2025, and that a win against us would be their first in TEN games (including tonight) then you have to say a loss for us would be a very disappointing result.
Cumming1-2 Oxford. Or 1-1.
Kioso Helik Brown Leigh
Brannagan Matos
Placheta Goodrham Dembele
Romeny
Either way we can’t / won’t / shouldn’t lose tonight…
In honour of whom?1-2 victory for the yellows, though I suspect we'll play in purple tonight.
I have also been supporting the Yellows for 60 years and, in my considered opinion, after reading your posts, you are by no means a glass half full supporter. Or if you are, then I'm brimming over!I’m a realist who has been supporting the Yellows for 60 years.
