Is this too early to start a match day thread?

Ultimately it’s going to be a painful defeat I fear despite us taking the lead.

Lessons not learnt.

Dons 2-1 Oxford

Could someone let Tiger know that the train journey is a bit awkward. About 2 and a half hours from Oxford with at least two changes. He could go via Reading but that might not be such a good idea. The alternatives are via Marylebone and Waterloo or Basingstoke and Clapham Junction. They all go to Norbiton and then it's a 15 minute stroll. (or he could take a minicab)

Might be better just to drive up. Maybe DE could give him a lift?

“Tiger, are you alright to pay for the petrol? It’s my car we’re using but if you check the fine-print, you’ll see that ENSCO aren’t expected to pay for petrol until Marvin Johnson makes an international appearance.”

4-0 win for the mighty yellows with Louis Van Gaal looking on sagely from the directors box.

More pills please nurse...

So there we have it, Faz is pretty much declaring that this will be his last game as caretaker manager before the new guy takes over. Who knows, hopefully not, but it could even be his last game involved with Oxford United altogether. Whatever people frustrations have been with the manager search and performances etc, I think they should all be put to one side, everybody should get behind Faz and the team and show him the appreciation he deserves for being a great servant of the club in good times and these not so good. We’ve got a lot to thank him for, and his conduct through these last few trying weeks has been nothing short of impeccable

So do we all (except Tiger) agree its just about survival now? - A draw and a very precious point will do.

1-1 Thomas.

Draws at this stage of the season will just not cut it, gentlemen.
I don't see us keeping a clean sheet at the mo, but I'm going for 3...yes, 3! goals to the yellows.

Tight game and I'll guess at a score draw of 1-1. Probably a better point for us than the Dons.

I hope the fans going enjoy the 50% of the match they'll be able to see from that away stand.
