Home Match Day Thread 10/02/2026 - MDT: Oxford United v Norwich City

MB was (obvious now) the wrong choice. Be honest, we could all see the problems on the pitch before this season began and yet we never signed a goal scorer with Championship experience when we should have .
Nice new stadium hosting Bromley and Harrogate- lovely.
What's very worrying is the total lack of organisation. I can't work out who's supposed to be playing where. And I'm not sure the players know either. Many years ago, I was at Wilder's first game. We were a poor team, with very average players, but you could immediately see that players had been told exactly what to do. There has been no sense of that at all with Bloomfield, and we're nearly two months in. I don't think the new signings look that bad tbf, but this is a complete mess. I was very lukewarm about the Bloomfield appointment but wanted him to work out. It's very early days, but there is an argument to say we should cut and close now. In terms of basic structure, this is Pep Clotet levels of dross.

Radio off, tv off ...Will turn radio on at full time, want to hear what he has to say

This is a carbon copy of how Bloomfield took Lootown down. Didn't score at home for weeks, then too late to recover.

We're not going to miraculously score goals next year without a decent striker. Something has to change

There’s so many players I could call out tonight, but MPH has looked like he really can’t be bothered which is disappointing as I felt he was one of our hungrier players.
