It is very windy , so the odd shower passing through from now on might not be decisive. If it does go ahead, the conditions might play into our hands. It's Rowettball weather!

I was fairly confident the game would start (and finish) before the MDT was created...

Must win ,if we can't put a performance in after Swansea ,there could be trouble at Mill.

Diabolical 0-0 incoming.
“Take a point” 🤮

Huge game. Conditions will be awful, but we should’ve made more of the fair weather games. Job to do.

Defining game for Rowett. A win here is a must, thanks to Saturday. A draw does precious little. Lose it and I think it puts us very close to the nothing-to-lose category and surely makes his position pretty untenable.

New manager would have a few games to assess what he’s got, which might be more than what Rowett thinks he’s got depending on approach, before we hopefully roll up our sleeves in January’s window.

We’ll go to three at the back, with Ben Davies in the team, using his passing ability and quality in possession to spray it about.

Our wingbacks will bomb up and down, whipping in crosses, and Rowett will replace them around the 60-70th minute, so we’ve got fresh legs out wide the whole game.

Prelec and Lankshear up front together will feast, getting on the end of crosses, as well as holding the ball up and playing teammates in.

Romeny will be a subtle, composed, classy presence behind the front two, and Goodrham will come on for him later in the game with a point to prove, and win a succession of free kicks, tormenting their midfield and defence who can’t pick him up.

And no-one can take that away from me for a couple of hours at least…

Perfect conditions for Dembele and Placheta out there tonight. Free-flowing, total, attacking football is required for a big three points!!

Conditions will be the same for both teams and, in a managerial masterclass, GR has organised a team in worse weather than this..... albeit "warmer".

Awful spectacle, 1-0 away win. :)
