Its not a "must win" but it's very much a game that I expect us to win and to take another big step towards safety with a month of the season still remaining.

I said elsewhere that I'd expect Swansea to beat Plymouth and Cov to beat Pompey, so 3 points will see us move up to 16th with 6 points or more over the bottom 4.

Do this and we might get a few more in the Blindly Positive gang!

Well, QPR, on the day, are unquestionably the worst team we’ve faced this season - how we lost there is an absolute mystery. We were shocking on the night but they were worse. Results suggest they temporarily improved but there’s every chance they find themselves in a relegation scrap after tonight and I’m not that surprised. 3-1 to us.

3-1 to us. Helik, Placheta and a lesser spotted Brannagan Penalty.

Very little panic for the rest of the season and we begin lining up our first choice striker for next season's playoff push

Really think we need to keep calm and take at least a point this evening.
Don't want a ' after the Lord Mayor's show ' after the great win Sat.
Think we might be getting a little carried away , lose this evening and we are right back in it.
Praying for a comprehensive victory to settle the nerves.
Is it not possible to stay calm and expect us to beat a team who have drawn 2 and lost 4 in the last 6? We are on a high after Saturday and we should be feeling confident of getting 3 points tonight.

The mark of a good side developing is consistency - building on a great win with another win (scrappy or otherwise) as it builds confidence on the pitch and in the stands.

No doubts, this IS a must win game. I personally think this is one where Phillips will thrive if picked. 2-0 home win for me - Oli and an OG.

2-1 United.

I don’t think it’ll be as straightforward as a 2or3 goal margins like some are suggesting. We are Oxford United, when do we ever make it easy?

This presents itself as probably our most winnable home game since Luton. We were lucky to win that one, so I hope that the players are guarded against any complacency after Saturday’s excellent win.

Kass has to be rocking! Up the Ox.

Just think this will be a completely different match to Saturday and we shouldn't be over confident. We have only won 1 out of 11 and while we will be boosted by Sat let's not expect a walkover .
Hopefully we get an early goal or two and can relax but this won't be easy .

A repeat of Saturdays atmosphere needed tonight. We can do this, lads.

The key for players and fans alike tonight is going in with the confidence earned from Saturday’s win, while also accepting it may be a bit of a grind and that not everything will go our way.

It’s a great game to have to follow on from Saturday, but QPR won’t be a walkover and we’ll have to fight tooth and nail again if we’re going to get another 3 points.

I think this is game where we must get a "result" for the sake of building momentum to what is now the start of a SIX GAME Season.

The team was immensely resilient in keeping a clean sheet on Saturday, and that will be required again, tonight. Our fans, of course, were simply
brilliant in roaring the boys home to a deserved win. QPR will be a different and difficult side to beat and they will be desperate in preventing us
from overtaking them in the struggle for Championship survival.

This is a HUGE six-pointer - make no mistake - and I, for one, am really looking forward to it.

I'll be losing my voice in the process... (again) - LOL !! tonight. Looking forward to seeing you ALL there.

COYYS !!!!!!

Won 2 out of the last 3 against 3rd and 10th in the league.

Our last 10 home games has seen a record of 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses, so 19 points from 30 at 1.9 points a game, which would translate to 87 points over a season. We are a very different beast at home than away, so while we should never be cocky, none of those results have come easy, we can take some confidence from that. Our away record is so bad that conflating it with the home record skews our chances in games when you look at runs of form.

Its not like we are flat track bullies at home either, we have taken 16 points from 10 games against the current top 12, versus 4 points from 12 games against the top half away, which would be very creditable 73 points over a versus an abysmal 15 points, to really highlight the stark difference in playing us at home to away.

Thats not saying it will be anything but a very tough game tonight, but we can all be a bit more hopeful at home without it being arrogant.

We’ve taken 35 points from 20 home games, and as you say, many of those points from teams higher up the league than QPR.
A point tonight would be ok, but I strongly believe we’ll win this. Which then leaves us needing two more draws to be safe.

We have won 2 out of our last 3 games?
Not sure than anybody will be overconfident, but this, on paper, is by far the easiest game we have left against a team in terrible form and with injuries.
Rowett will ensure that the team are not over confident, but will be expecting us to go out and win this game

Before the Sheff Utd game our record wasn't exactly stellar though so shouldn't take too much from QPR's poor run

QPR have also picked up 18 points away from home, so can obviously get a few results. But they have players out and are in bad form and now under pressure themselves, it will be a tough, tight scrap but one that we have a chance in. Its a massive game for both clubs, could be the difference between staying up or not come the end of the season.
