Been quite impressive how we've managed to both not press the ball AND be miles off the runners.

Just got in and seen the stats…

10 shots and 6 corners against in 25 minutes doesn’t fill me with confidence

I hate to say it but Rowett’s tactics are so negative. We’re playing with an inferiority complex. Letting their midfielders have space with no press so they continually ping it out to Mikey Johnston who skins adam Long every time. Then when we get the ball our players hit it long and our forwards get beat and the process starts again! We need to be more aggressive in winning it and have the bravery to not panic and boot it long. COYY

That says more about the quality of our players than anything else

Seems Leigh is determined to make every pass, throw and free kick less than 50/50 in our favour.

The way Ciaran Brown (who I hope you’d agree is a quality player at this level) pumps it long with no pressure on him, it tells me it’s team instructions. Agree with our forwards that the composure is lacking but I think we’ve got a good measure of quality in the central midfield (Brannagan and De Keersmaecker) to not have to pump it long time and again.
