Hopefully we see Goodrham & Krastev from the off. Two players with real dribbling ability. Giving them freedom to attack a West Brom team who will be shot of confidence & a home crowd eager to get stuck into Ryan Mason.

3-4-2-1

Helik Davies Brown
Long BDK Brannagan Leigh
Goodrham Krastev

Tyler and Krastev can hold the ball well giving relief to our defenders, and I think would help BDK and Lancs get into games. Then for last 1/4 bring on our Impacters Mills and Shemmy. Got to change things now and again IMO.

We always gift teams in their time of need especially when the poor things are having a terrible run.
WBA 3-1 Oxford.

What team/performance will we get today!!

Could do with a win going into the international break and hopefully take us up a couple of places!

Will our inconsistent consistency come to the fore?

1-2 away win.

Please.

FROM THE ARCHIVES:

November 1988

United, wearing yellow shirts, white shorts and navy socks lose 3-2 at the Hawthorns who featured Brian Talbot as player-manager and future United striker John Durnin.
U’s winger Paul Simpson scored his first goal for the club and Martin Foyle headed in a superb Dave Bardsley cross.

Colin Anderson, Robert Hopkins and Sky Sports co-commentator Don Goodman with a last gasp winner at the Birmingham Road end for the Baggies.

REF WATCH

Sussex official Jacob Miles takes charge of his first Champ.fixture today at the Hawthorns

Looking forward to today.

West Brom 1 - 3 Oxford. Brown, BDK x 2.

Hoping for the surprise reappearance of Ter Avest.

And four to five pints in a lovely pub.

A few already were on Tuesday
I hope those few fans realise that we have the best manager possible to keep us up this season.
Maybe they aspire to be back in league one around the play offs watching our centre backs pass it between themselves over and over again.

Yep. There was a very small group behind me in the East Stand on Tuesday on Tuesday that started that in the second half towards the end of the match but were almost immediately drowned out but pro Rowett songs. Tbf that small group are moaning from start to finish and do nothing to actually support the team

Listened to the Stoke game, it sounded more a case of Stoke playing well than us playing badly. I go into every game this season believing we can get something:

West Bromwich Albion 1 - Oxford United 1.

I heard that, least we know where the kip family sit now.

Generally the aupport was very good I thought.
I guess that every club has those who would like to get rid of a manager when the team has a poor run. Those people would havd been the first to have wanted MAPP out

There must be fans who have wanted rid of every manager we have had during the time they have supported us as soon as he has had a bad run, probably at every club around the world though. Then some of those bought Watford.

I’m going for 1-1 but I can also visualise a frustrating, limp 1-0 defeat. Teams on a bad run seem to revive against us.
