I’ve got a couple of season tickets lying around not really sure how best to use them.
Any ideas?… suggestions please.

Worst performance since promotion that.

No depth to this squad and too many L1 players exposed. Desperately missed Brannagan and Spencer. Tactics didn’t help.

Mate at the game said he heard Krastev saying this when he got subbed:

Не знам защо всички се оплакват. Не е като да загубихме от Хистън.

Which is a fair point really.

Bizarrely we out-XGd them, and out-xGoTed them by an even larger margin. Almost all of that was second half, and I suspect much of it right near the very end (Romeny, BdK, etc.) when basically it was too late to matter.

I was after Portsmouth, Hull, Birmingham, Wrexham, Stoke and West Brom though.
So you want the manager sacked after every defeat. On that basis you want to give him a new contract after every win.

I reckon Rowett would really like to say that his players are not good enough. Is he worried (frightened?) of the board and that it would give them a reason to sack him?

Except that is countered by the performances against Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Leicester, Coventry, Bristol City. Four of those 5 at home of course. We can be decent, just not often enough.

through the course of a season we are going to get beaten, lose games. That does and will happen.

However, to put in , or should that be not put in, a performance like todays was is not acceptable imo, its not the losing a game, its the lack of any form of performance that really hurts

Strange no Dembele with Placheta injured and Goodrham unused sub when we needed something and a great cameo against Ipswich ...just a bit odd .
I thought today's game was calling out for someone like Dembele who can run at people and win us free kicks in dangerous areas.

Genuinely cant string 5 passes away from home. Midfield depth is sorely needed we're constantly getting exposed losing these second balls and succumbing to the press too easily.

I feel sorry for Rowett - he's come in with a remit to keep us in the Championship, The board are more interested in Indonesian shirt sales than getting some quality in the squad. He knows the squad is s**t, picking points up by flying by the seats of our pants at home. You could sack him - but that won't change the board mentality or the squad. Rowett is absolutely our best chance of hanging in there until we're free of the Kassam curse and can invest properly. If we appoint a manager with a football purist mentality we'll get hammered every week in this division - as Des found out. Give the guy a break and get behind the team. We're going to lose a lot more than we win at the moment.
