OK so no one cares apparently, but you can bet your life Garbutt, Bradbury and Sam Smith care plenty. As will I suspect many OUFC fans if it kicks starts Smiths or Bradbury's
season with the first team. 3-1 to OUFC with Smith getting two. Be interesting to see if Cameron Norman makes an appearance.

Cameron who?;)

Want a U's win....(for a confidence reboot after Saturday's capitulation) ....though, in the greater scheme of a s**t season so far, if we bow out of Harvey's trophy does it really matter? More recovery time with less games to play for Karl's crocks.... shan't be going, shan't 'watch' on rad ox either. Shall check on here (yf) every so often.

Rad ox live build up n coverage starts at 7.30 (with a Mr n Mrs Robinson extensive interview being broadcast between 7 &7.30pm) ...even Jerome, Nathan, Selfie and co don't seem too excited about this one. Wonder if radox first teamers will be rested and that woman will be doing commentary?

Ridiculous competition, little interest at this end of a40, ...Wycombe 1 Oxford 5,....Smith hat trick & 2 og's... another 3 of our squad out for1- 3 months after being beaten up n kicked all around Adams park by pikey Ainsworth's anti-footballing knuckledraggers ....attendance 655 .. 180 away fans

I never thought we’d do much this season (although I thought we’d be doing better in the league although we do seem to be slowly turning the corner there) and never had us down for a playoff place or above, so therefore I’d hoped that the fun from this season would come from the cups.

The League Cup has delivered in that regard. A couple of rounds navigated and a payout with Man City coming to town to run rings around us in front of a full house. I’m hopeful we can do something similar in the FA Cup too – again, navigate the first two rounds and make sure we’re in the hat for round three.

Whilst never a priority, the EFL Trophy – for all its faults with the Under [Insert inconsistent age here] teams in it – adds value to uninteresting, middling seasons when you have a run in it. Anyone remember much about the league campaign in 2016-17? Finished 8th, never looked like doing much, the Bolton away game was a good result …. Anyone remember the FA Cup win over Newcastle and the away day at Middlesbrough plus the Luton semi-final and Wembley day out against Coventry? Of course I do! Even as a minor cup competition, it generated some memories.

I hope we go through to keep some interest in this season. I won’t be in attendance though!

No colours in the bars and soft drinks only in the fanzone tent apparently. Good job I came straight from work as a last minute decision and haven’t got colours with me! 🍺
